From reading the reviews the app looked promising for what I was looking for. Unfortunately, after downloading I realised you’re not able to add your own recipes which was disappointing as we mainly cook Carribean and Colombian food :(… Would be a nice feature to add so it’s useable by literally everyone.

Some improvements required to make this app really good 1. App changes what has been typed in. For example, I typed in ‘Thai chicken curry’ and this was changed to ‘complete meal’ which is no help to me when I am scrolling through the food I have to make a meal plan 2. There is no option to be able to add/ edit the categories and the categories are a bit basic. please add (or allow editing) spices, sauces, condiments, tinned, jars, oils, sweets, snacks, baking, dried goods 3. Also needs the ability to search by category. Currently you need to scroll through everything you have entered. Search by category would also be useful in the recipe section 4. Should be able to classify as meat and frozen. I.e. a category and a location (pantry, fridge, cupboard etc) 5. Please change to show multiples of 1 item as e.g. Bacon x 5 rather than showing 5 separate lines of bacon. Scrolling is tedious 6. When you press back from the list it jumps to the top which is pretty annoying when you’re looking for something at the bottom of the list 7. I added some items by scanning the bar code but I then had to separately move them from my shopping list to home 1 at a time. 8. Add to a location would also be helpful when putting shopping away Future additions of building a meal plan would also be great Overall an ok app as it’s free but I would prefer the extra options and to pay for it

Downloaded app after reading about it in waitrose literature . Just what I was looking for a way to track and reduce waste . Manually entered a small shop I had just done and will be trying a receipt scan on next shop . Process straightforward . Struggled a bit with seeing recipes but very speedy reply from support within hours of question and straightforward fix I had put too many products for my recipe search just one or two items worked a treat showing a list of recipes to use . Looking forward to exploring more options and tracking waste and its cost

I don’t really think this is all that useful. It’s a lot of manual entry and lotta form filling. Starts by asking you your postcode and basically everything you have at home. The design is nice but not all that useful.

This could be a great app, but it doesn’t understand online receipts or is abled to import PDFs. With more of us shopping online this should be implemented. With Ocado receipts, for ex., expiry dates , quantities, product descriptions and prices are all clearly presented; it should be an easy task to read and categorise these type of receipts. Until this is implemented, I find it very cumbersome and time consuming to use. I’d also like to swipe to indicate I’ve used the products on a recipe. Having to delete or move instead is long winded. I’d rather swipe used items than ditched ones.

Crikey, like these upgrades. It’s like getting a sticker when you save! Really like the goal setting and showing what you have saved aside from food. Greta would be proud.

Scanning receipts from different supermarkets fails to import anything but garbled writing. I don't have time to manually enter items into an app that's meant to save me time and wastage.

Having a way to track my food at home and get tasty recipes, hacks and tips is awesome. Also tracking my waste is useful but a bit scary at times. Saving me money already.

Tried several times but never get past the set up! Try to put in occupancy and I get a blank screen with no way to go backwards or forwards, such a shame as sounded promising. And I saw other reviews with the same issue but as the response was that they had fixed the issue I thought I would try. Disappointed

Total rubbish. Can’t read a receipt for toffee. What a waste of time. Deleting the app.
