## Klipsch The Fives Updater Description
The Fives Powered Monitors are capable of full app control, including a Virtual Remote and EQ. To get these capabilities, you need to update your Fives. This app walks you through the process and installs necessary updates to enable the Virtual Remote and EQ capabilities you've been waiting for.

After you have successfully updated your Fives, you can safely uninstall this app. All future updates will come through the Klipsch Connect app.

IMPORTANT: The update is a two-step process. Both the USB (Step 1) and Bluetooth (Step 2) steps must be completed!

What You Will Need:
* Internet access
* A USB thumb drive, at least 1 gigabyte in size, and preferably USB 2.0
* Access to a computer or device to copy update files to the thumb drive
* About 20 minutes

After the update, Klipsch Connect will show the new features. Make sure you are running at least version 1.9.0 of Klipsch Connect. You may need to forget and re-pair your Fives for the new features to display.

Should you have any questions, our Product Support team is here to assist. Phone number, support ticket, and other contact details are in the app, or you can visit us online at We are happy to walk you through the process!

Thank you for choosing Klipsch!

## Klipsch The Fives Updater Reviews in United States

### ***** "Service. Great"
Nice job
-- Speakers5, 2025-08-23

### ***** "Clear instructions, outdated step 1 link"
The link for downloading the zip is outdated btw. I had to do some googling to find the zip file
-- baboon boi, 2025-01-12

### ****- "Good sounds"
I am too much love to Klipsch fives
-- Avidies, 2023-07-10

### ***** "Did the trick"
Haven’t used a thumb drive in a while, but everything went smoothly. Easy to get the files needed, speakers responded to the update easily, and the app was easy to use and communicated each step clearly.
-- the1andonlydfigs, 2023-07-06

### *---- "Just doesn’t work"
I spent hours trying to get this to work and all it did was break Bluetooth connectivity to the speakers. I followed all instructions meticulously and tried several times. The directions on the website had broken image links. I’m an electrical engineer with a focus in audio and if this isn’t working for me I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be for somebody without that background.
-- Echopigeon, 2023-04-13

### *---- "Needs another round of updates"
Need another round of update according to client service rep I just spoke to. Tried updating my Fives and now I’m stuck here waiting before I can use the app.
-- Jarreeddd, 2023-03-27

### *---- "Be cautious"
This system allows you to use an iPod nano 7th generation. Once you are forced to proceed with Step 2, it no longer allows Bluetooth on the iPod and forces you to stream music. What a let down to iPod music lovers.
-- ipodpanda30, 2023-02-19

### ***** "Perfect update"
Worked like a champ!
-- u1a050, 2023-02-07

### *---- "Junk"
Junk
-- Dust_Collector, 2022-12-19

### ***** "Klipsch Fives Updater Worked"
Followed the instructions and updated the Fives with zero issues. Took about 10 minutes. Flawless.
