Wow, wow and wow! Absolutely love Koala as a musical idea sketch pad... but it’s way more powerful than that. I love the workflow and how easy it is to transform a simple sound into something completely unrecognizable (and it still sounds *good*). So quick to learn (I highly recommend spending ten to fifteen mins on YT checking the tutorials) and off you go. Supports importing of samples, recording samples and has wicked FX and near unlimited resampling capability. Export to Ableton and finish your idea there. The developer regularly updates the app with new features and also responds to email queries from users. If you know what ADSR means or have any experience using hardware or VST samplers you will love this app. Thanks Elf Audio! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m having too much fun with this app. It’s very easy to pick up, it’s clean and minimal, and things do what you expect them to do.

First of all, love this application. Flawlessly done. Intuitive. Even my young kid loves to play around with it. Also, the fact that it’s on android as well…. Very grateful! 1 feature request I’ve been waiting for: fold the piano roll to only display notes in selected scale. That would be very useful for composing.

Great and best mobile production app period. He listens to users and the implementation has been great. The latest update is a godsend and free for samurai users is killer. Love the direction this app is going.

Koala Sampler is one of my favorite music making devices ever. Whenever someone asks me about getting into production, learning about beat making, experimenting with electronic music or anything… my first suggestion is KOALA SAMPLER! It’s just so brilliant, immediate, fun, cool and just good. I first started messing with samplers in the late 80s and I never could have imagined something this cool in my wildest dreams. The developer is always adding something amazing to it and it just keeps getting better and better…. Just get it.

Always improving, keeps getting better, such a solid dev and app - one of my all time favorites for sure.

This is a special app. Not because it’s a capable sampler with resampling features (and a new synthesizer built in!). Not because it has very good sounding performance effects and a 4 track mixer. The reason this app is special is because the developers have put a LOT of time and thought into the workflow and user experience. Working in Koala is a very a very tight intuitive musical feedback loop and instantaneously you can hear the results of what you are doing. The result is a tool that helps or even forces, catapults you to finish tracks.
