## KOBA Description
/ How it works
KOBA’s smart car insurance means your insurance is personalised according to how you use your car. Using smart tech, we sync to your car to create a connected experience. You get comprehensive car insurance, just...smarter.

/ When you join our EV comprehensive policy
KOBA offers comprehensive insurance designed specifically for EVs, beginning with Tesla vehicles.
KOBA uses Tesla vehicle data to offer connected insurance to you. Once you sign up, you'll need to log into your Tesla account to give vehicle data access to KOBA, automatically connecting our insurance to your car.

/ When you join our pay-per-KM comprehensive policy
We’ll send you a KOBA Rider - a matchbox size module - that easily plugs into your car through the OBD (Onboard Diagnostics) port. This receives real-time driving and GPS data, communicating to your app to recognise when the vehicle is driving. The KOBA Rider securely measures your KM driven and powers our app in real-time.

/ When you join our Car sharing owner-use comprehensive policy
KOBA offers car share owners pay-per-KM insurance when they’re using their car. Synced with Uber Carshare’s Instant Keys GPS device, our integrated tech automatically switches between KOBA and Uber Carshare to distinguish when your car is used for personal use, communicating to your app accordingly. You must be signed up to Uber Carshare's Instant Keys technology for this policy.

/ What do I get once I log in?
Our smartphone app shows you your trips, costs and policy info; letting you:
- Measure your km travelled and cost per trip
- See your trips and billing history
- Pay monthly, with automatic online payments
- Access your policy information online
- Notify us of a claim online
- Review account information
- Contact our Australia-based team

## KOBA Reviews in Australia

### *---- "Can't log in"
Have downloaded, deleted and downloaded again numerous times and the cant get past the log in screen. Useless.
-- ozrum1976, 2022-10-01

### **--- "Need to step up app game if you want to call yourself insuretech"
Apps not user friendly at all. Keeps logging out, many bugs, all to just provide some basic functionality—shouldn’t be that hard.
-- Kaiyuan2893, 2022-09-14

### *---- "Newcastle, NSW"
Reset password doesn’t work
-- Liverpool doc, 2022-08-19

### **--- "App continually logs you out"
Good app and good company but…lately the app has been logging me out of each section of the app. Having to repeatedly login to use the app is frustrating.
