Kobo Books

Great when it syncs with Libby but sometimes when it doesn’t I have to logout and reboot again. Annoying

I really enjoy using the Kobo app. Reading books is mostly a smooth experience. Adjusting font size and background is easy and intuitive. Turning pages is mostly smooth and rarely lags. The Home Tab is easy to navigate and pretty well organized. Areas that I see need improvement are in the Tab where you see all of your e-books. I have over 1,000 in my library. If you are scrolling through and browsing your library, and you navigate away from the app for a moment, it restarts from the beginning of your list. It doesn’t save your place. If you only have a few books, it’s not a big deal, but with a larger library, a lot of functionality is lost because of this. I often navigate between Kobo and Goodreads and it becomes annoying really fast. Also, my wishlist is never properly updated. I can access only a small fraction of the titles I have in my wishlist. The pricing is not available on the app. The list is not sortable either. It’s only in order of date added. I would love to be able to sort by author or title, and be able to see the pricing and then sort by price. I would love if this functionality was available on the kobo.com website. Despite all of this, it’s still one of my most used apps.

I’m using the App on an iPad mini, and every time I try to turn a page it takes 10-15 seconds to load the next one. Sometimes I can’t even tell if the input worked, because nothing changes on the screen for so long. If there’s one thing a reading app needs to be able to do, it’s turn the page. It’s bad enough that I’m considering re-purchasing my books on another platform. Do not use

J’aimerais que l’application kobo et ma kobo communique plus facilement ensemble. Quand je lis sur mon application sur mon cellulaire ma kobo ne synchronise pas la dernière page lue..

J’adorais Kobo j’étais membre depuis 5 ans mais ma liseuse ne fonctionnait plus alors j’ai décidé de m’en racheter une mais après 3 commandes différentes avec 3 liseuses défectueuses et aucun service de la part de Kobo j’ai tout annulé malgré le fait que je perds mes point et mes livres non lu qu’ils ne veulent pas me rembourser. Je suis toujours en attente de leur part concernant le remboursement de mon abonnement.

Entertaining read

I accidentally deleted the ap, when I started it again it keeps trying to load bit no books show up. It just keeps trying but nothing. I have the app on my old mini iPad and have no problem with that. I just use it to read books from the library or the kindle app. It’s too slow for anything else. I tried “ fixing the app” but still no books, just constantly trying to download.
