Doesn’t work. Could never connect to my WiFi. Useless crap. I spent a lot of money on two useless cameras. They worked for a few days and they went down due to power outage and I have not been able to reconnect them ever since.
I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing. Not much customer support either. They want you to subscribe to a $10 monthly per camera so that you save all of your video footage. NO THANKS KODA! ITS CHEAPER TO GO WITH THE RING SYSTEM FOR $100 a year for unlimited cameras
Needs updating
The whole app needs an update. The security camera will connect to wifi, pair with the app but the actual device doesn’t even show up under device list … 🙄
LOVE!!
We recently received the KODA light cam and we love it. So far, I have nothing negative to say. The playback is great, app seems to be working well and the actual image is pretty clear. Notifications come quickly and there isn’t much of a lag with the connection.

I absolutely love my camera! Everything works very well including the app! Apparently they fixed all issues and I’ve had no problems. Everything is working very nice and smooth!

We recently got the KODA LightCam and we are loving it. The app is easy to use and gives quick notifications when there is movement in the frame - it gives us peace of mind that we’ll be aware of anything happening and able to act in order to stay safe. We also love the idea of it for when we travel so that we can monitor the house including packages and for our dog sitters.
The video quality is great and the app is wonderful. Highly recommend!
New Improved App
They’ve definitely improved this app since I last used it. It’s still a tad slow but easier to navigate and I haven’t had issues with it recently!
Doesn’t work app
What is going on with the app.. the app is dropping a lot when you open it.. you have to open at least twice..
The second is the WiFi connection it drops also evening I did a test by have my internet modem next to the camera see for a few days it will drop and only say(((( it’s connecting)))) so needs to reset again and will work fine for a few days and the the same thing again..
Not sure if the app does that because I already talked to my Internet provider and ran a test and they told me I got full Internet signal ect::
Still no software update
I wrote a review back in June of ‘19.
First, the camera only saves 10s clips which is not enough to get all the action even with a paid subscription of $4 a month!
Second, when you get a notification on your phone and by the time you access live view, which takes forever, the person at your door is gone!
Third, no software updates so far!
Thank God for Costco’s return policy! I’ll be returning!

NEW SOFTWARE PLEASE
the camera overall is okay not the best like they mentioned on their advertisement as being 1080 p it’s more like like 720 p it does it’s job, the flood light is very bright! But the Software... by the time I open the app what ever the motion detected is gone... yea there is the cloud storage but I wan to be able to open it and tell them something I might end up returning it if they don’t fix their issue.
Worst Wi-Fi device ever used
We are about to approach year 2020 and this company still can’t make simple Wi-Fi to work on iPhones! No tech support available on weekend, hello?! Most people will need install assistance on weekends! I had to use my wife’s android phone to setup the camera. Not sure why it wouldn’t work on iOS?! Once is setup, the picture/sound quality is really great!
