I ordered a pair of earbuds from them. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee. When I decided to return them, it took over a week to get a response. I finally did and returned them in October. As of January 2023 I still have not received a refund.

I would give zero stars, so once I bought it they did not send an update or anything for a month and did not answer emails. I requested a refund from my credit card company AND then they sent the product. I returned it upon receiving it and it has been 6 weeks and they still have not refunded me.

When I saw the 1.5 star rating, I thought no way could the app be all that bad. But then I downloaded it. First, expect to get new spam once you give them your email. Second, as an industrial designer myself, I don’t believe they’ve done any significant user testing at all. It’s clunky and frustrating, translates poorly for those not using the metric system/24 hour clock, and the content is very sparse. Headphones themselves seem great, but use them with a different app. Pretty much anything else works better, but the Calm app is my go-to.

I these headphones as comfortable as I’ve ever owned for falling asleep with. But do NOT buy these to monitor your sleep quality. Sleep trackly simply does NOT work. It used to show me as sleeping for 15-16hrs, and has not shown me ANY sleep data in almost a month. No updates.

Kokoon Nightbuds are the best wireless sleep headphones around. Why you can’t provide a useful app that works is beyond me. Personal sleep data is meaningless and rarely even works.

The app just shuts off the headphones after about 10 seconds if you try to use the Kokomo app to fade out for sleep with YouTube. I really wish they would fix this as this was one of the main features that I wanted from the headphones. The other reason I bought them was to block snoring but they are essentially useless for this as well. I still use them because they are the most comfortable headset I’ve found to sleep in but they are way over priced without the other advertised functionality. Maybe someday, but after waiting years, I don’t have much hope that the promised functionality will ever appear. Update: I tried the link from the developer reply and no answers were found for my problem. “Nightbuds turn off shortly after app launched.” I previously contacted support and they replied that the functionality to allow fade out as you fall asleep was not supported with third party apps like YouTube and only worked with the MyKokoon app (which has a VERY limited play list). I have a feedback meeting scheduled for March (two month waiting period) so hopefully I’ll get some resolution then. Update: After 9 months of back and forth I finally got a replacement set of headphones that work with the app only to be disappointed by the app functionality. The only way I can get the auto fade to work is to first launch the Kokoon app then YouTube. If I wake up in the middle of the night I have to go through this same multi step process again. As for the sleep tracking, that is almost a joke. Just a pie chart for the previous night. You’d think that after years of development there would be more to it than this. They are the most comfortable sleeping headphones I have and if they were $35 I could fully recommend them for that alone but with a useless app and a $250 price, I won’t recommend these to friends.

This app and related device Nightbuds Bluetooth headphones has potential but the app is a mess of features that do not work with iOS 16. I would not bother with it, unless you want a lot of frustration and blue screen use right before your bedtime! The app’s sleep tracking doesn’t work at all, the various sleep help selections are scrambled in the app, so it is a ‘shell game’ to find the functions you really want. The beach surf waves sound Loop somehow disappeared from the MyKokoon Library. I can’t tell if the Firmware Update is or is not installed & for a set of headphones with a connected control dongle, they do not provide sound cancellation equal to Apple AirPods or many others. Perhaps Garmin should buy this company as their sleep tracking and health analysis is superior and easier on which to rely.

Zero app function now. No more rain or other sounds present. All sleep data GONE. Left with simple Bluetooth earbuds now. Any related unique function, just disappeared.

As others have said the headphones themselves are great. That should be the hard part right? After ios 16 update app doesnt connect (phone still connects fine). App was bad before with not recording data, wierd graphs when it did randomly work. The worst part of this product is the non-existant customer service. Submitted a recent ticket and a week later nothing. I want to like this product. I want to be able to recommend it to others. Until the app and customer service improve. I will tell everyone to stay away.

The sleep relaxing worked on and off prior to iOS 16 but now the app doesn’t recognize the buds at all so the app is worthless except for using it as a sound machine.
