Welbeck's Atlas of Great Journeys is a beautifully illustrated atlas of some of the most famous, dangerous and record-breaking journeys throughout history. This app brings the maps to life, making the routes of the journey appear right on the page.
- View the map pages through the app to see the routes of three historic journeys on every map. Follow the ships, horses, sleds and planes as they move across the map, and learn the story of each explorer's travels.

Ok, but…
Well it maps ok but why do I have to click all these finish/done clicks, up to five (sometimes SIX!) times, to end my mapped little hike? So annoying.
Great app, too bad smartwatches still need a mobile
Very useful for discovering tracks and easy to adjust the route to align to my needs. Love the offline navigation, unfortunately I can’t use it directly from my Samsung watch and I have to carry around my mobile which is uncomfortable. Hopefully offline navigation directly from wearOS watches will be added soon
Scam on offers????
Opened the app and received a GREAT offer to buy “the world” for less than €10, an offer that was going to last for 56 hours. Upon checking out it still was ordinary price with no option to apply for the offer. WATCH out for scam offers!!!

Ovärderlig för långa cykelturer
Appen är en väldigt god hjälp för att planera en cykelsemester i okända trakter. Det är fenomenal på att hitta cykelvägar eller småvägar med mindre trafik, och den ger tydlig information om underlag, typ av väg och höjdskillnader. Det är också relativt lätt att hålla kolla på butiker, vandrarhem, campingplatser etc längs med vägen. Jag har gjort flera långturer i Sverige, och hittills bara stött på ett mindre fel i kartorna, och då var det lätt gjort att hitta en alternativ väg i appen på telefonen. Jag är också väldigt nöjd med hur Komoot skickar instruktioner till min Applewatch, som ger snabb och lättavlästa instruktioner för hur man ska bete sig i nästa korsning, och hur långt det är till den. Så jag slipper fippla med telefonen medans jag cyklar. Det finns en hel del funktioner här som inte är uppenbara från första början, som att välja rätt typ av karta för planering och sätt att justera turen. Så man behöver sitta med Komoot på en dator ett slag för att lära sig.

För oss ryttare hade denna appen också varit perfekt - varför kan man inte välja ridning som aktivitet?
