You can start creating a song from a project in which each track's gadgets and scenes have been developed. Choose from the standard genre packs and enjoy a different approach to music production.

• Tons of sounds readily available with the New Browser
To make it easier than ever to find the desired gadget instrument, we have revised the Gadget Browser and added various functions. New features include displaying gadgets by instrument category, a Favourites function that allows you to group your favorite gadgets, and a search function that allows you to freely search for sounds in each gadget. Using the program search function, it is now possible to quickly and easily preview and search for the sound you wanted from a vast array of sounds.

Yes, just do it.

I've been using Korg Gadget since its release and if you're into making music on iOS then it's "a must have" imho. The only thing I miss an easier way to use Gadget with AUM and Audiobus, or in short; AUv3. Then it would be perfect! I love the workflow, especially after I got Korg Nanokey studio & NanoKontrol studio. It's a perfect match and they work flawlessly together.

Great reproduction of the originals

Love this app, the reproduction of the original hardware synths are fantastic, it’s fun and inspiring to work on, never bored on a flight anymore. I use Logic X for producing, but got the Mac app as well, so easy to send ideas back and forth between iPhone/iPad and Mac.

I like this app, but latest v.3.6.0 doesn’t seem to run on my iPad 3 with iOS 9.3.5. Make it compatible again, please? UPDATE: Thnx for v.3.6.1 ! It now runs very well on iPad 3 again :) Great !

Good, not great

The synths, while being nowhere near something like Omnisphere, are good. For iOS devices, they are great. The sequencer is ok, but scenes are the top-most elements. There are no sections, scene groups or similar. More importantly, there’s no play order list. You have to copy and keep identical scenes whether you want to or not. You also can’t share data easily from one scene to the next. Meaning if you want to combine some chords from different scenes, you can’t just select all (there’s no such option AFAICT) and copy in the piano roll editor, and you can’t append bars from one scene to another AFAICT. The function copy only works within the same scene. This would be easy to fix by letting users copy data to device memory, and only have it pasteable in compatible parts of the app. This is standard. Many apps even have multiple clipboards. All in all, KORG Gadget is good. It could be great. For what it is, basically a sketching tool, it’s overpriced.
