Kovo is a fraudulent, credit-wrecking disaster that should be avoided at all costs. I made my payments on time, yet they took over 90 days to report them, and when they finally did, they falsely marked them as over 30 days late!

In the credit world, if a payment isn’t reported on time, it’s considered late—and that’s exactly what Kovo is doing. Their failure to report in a timely manner is actively harming customers. No credit-building service should take months to update balances. It should happen within 7 days of receiving payment, yet Kovo waits over 60–90 days, screwing people over in the process.

This isn’t just incompetence—it’s fraud. They market themselves as a credit-building service, but instead, they destroy credit by misreporting payments. If you're considering Kovo, RUN. They will wreck your credit history and leave you picking up the pieces.Kovo is absolute garbage and a fraudulent credit-building service that does nothing but sabotage consumers. After an entire year of payments, my credit has only gone up by 15 points, but thanks to Kovo’s incompetence and false reporting, I just lost 22 points in one hit—completely wiping out any progress I made.

Kovo’s Fraudulent and Damaging Practices
90+ Days to Report Payments – Payments from December weren’t reported until February. That’s three months late! No credit-building service should take this long.
False Late Payments – Even after waiting months to report, they falsely marked my on-time payment as 30+ days late—which is a direct hit to my credit score.
Incorrect Balance Reporting – Instead of correctly showing my balance as $130, they inflated it to $140, messing up my credit utilization.
More Harm than Good – After a year of payments, my credit has barely moved up (+15 points), but one false late payment from Kovo caused a 22-point drop. That’s not “credit building” – that’s credit destruction.
