INTEREST FOR YOU
With a Kroo current account, you’ll earn interest at 0.9% below the Bank of England base rate on your current account balance up to £500,000. And it’s paid into your account monthly.
AER means annual equivalent rate. It shows you the yearly rate if we paid interest on top of interest. Gross interest is the contractual rate of interest.
KROO PERSONAL LOANS
Kroo loans are now available through the app. Applications for a loan are by invitation only for Kroo current account holders.
The loan repayment periods are from 12 to 60 months, with a Maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 23.6%
A representative example is £5,000.00 over 5 years, with APR (fixed) of 8.2%. This would have 60 monthly repayments of £101.16. The total repayment would be £6,069.60, and the cost of credit would be £1,069.60

Simple, great customer service and interest
So glad I moved to Kroo, was sceptical to start with as this was a relatively new business but they are with FSCS . I have been with them for several months now- the customer service is great, they get back to you through the app very promptly, great interest on all of your balance and good features eg pots in the app.
The app shows transactions very clearly. Kroo communicates with us to try and feed back on new features, so are really trying to improve. The app needs to accept cheques but as most of the world is cashless that doesn’t affect me.

Easy to use, super slick. Love the “pots” makes managing money on the go much easier. Spending notifications are rapid.

I’m a 52 year old woman who hates apps and technology esp banking online . This KROO is The best banking app ever and the best bank. So easy to sort up. So easy to send money and recieve money. Secure banking and simple to use. I recommend it.

THEY HAVE STOPPED ACCESS TO MY MONEY I CARNT TRANSFER IT TO ANOTHER ACCOUT I CARNT USE MY CARD AN THEY KEEP SAYING TO BE PATIENT, THE ACCESS HAS BEEN STOPPED FOR NEARLY 3 DAYS AS I WRITE THIS WITH STILL NO SIGN OF GETTING ACCESS I AM WRITING THIS TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE BEFORE THEY OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THESE
Good bank but…
All in all Kroo has been a good bank with a great interest rate on your current balance. The drawbacks are that they are not crypto friendly for some reason. I always thought it was up to you what you spent your money on but with Kroo this is not the case. Apparently, they can and will close your account if you send money to a stocks and shares platform if that platform also accepts investments in crypto, regardless of whether you’ve invested in crypto or not. In my case I had invested a total of £65K in various stocks and shares with Etoro, $299 of which I invested in bitcoin. I was warned that I must not transfer anymore money into Etoro as it is linked with crypto investments so I stopped transferring money to invest with the Etoro platform. The original $299 I invested in bitcoin is, as of writing this worth $971.51, that’s a $672 profit (225 %). Had I been allowed to invest more I would now have been filthy rich but Kroo seems to think they can tell you what you can and can’t invest in. I bet they don’t have a problem with you transferring money to Ladbrokes or William Hill where the odds of losing your money are much higher!
Immediate transaction
Unlike my previous bank Kroo pings me at the time of any transaction. With the other bank transactions would sometimes take days to show in my balance.

This has been a great app just for the interest you earn, the only thing I don’t like is I have a friend who has the app and he told me “I see you joined Kroo then”

Cannot get you to close my account.
Following your freezing my account so that I could not access my own money asked I have asked several times for you to close my account.
Nothing has happened despite one sided correspondence from myself.
