You can write with apple pencil and you can move your drawings and text too just like goodnotes!! And you can add pictures noww!! 10/10 :) Has spaced repitition, has light and dark mode, and you can organize your flashcards and sync them too. Worth the moneyyy

Cards not viewing and crashes from time to time

UPDATE: Photo attachment is now fixed. I purchased this app to use its photo attachment capability for my flashcards, but the ALL local HD photos attached show up BLURRED / low quality. I notified the developer through email however I have yet to receive a response. This would’ve been a good purchase if not for this detrimental bug.

PencilKit used to work; I was able to draw straight lines and beautiful shapes when I purchased the app before. If I need perfect drawings, I first draw in Apple Notes and then copy-paste the figure to the Kyoku card. If I need to paste a picture, I resize the image first. It seems that the app likes images that are 1000px in their longest side. By the way, the app does not give you a warning when deleting decks. It doesn’t have a “Recycle Bin” or “Recently Deleted” tab to recover accidentally deleted files so be careful when organizing your decks. I hope the developer freshens up the app before the year ends. I still enjoy it and I would give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if PencilKit and Image Insertion worked properly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if it had a “Recycle Bin” tab and an export option that’s AnkiDeck compatible.

I like all of the app features, but there is significant latency on the Apple Pencil. But once you get past that, the functions are great. I hope there will be updates for less pencil latency soon!

I was looking for a flashcard app that supports apple pencil and has a feature wherein I can rate the cards as hard, medium or easy when reviewing. WORTH BUYING FOR ITS PRICE!! However, I would’ve liked this better if it allows to add pictures and texts.

Hopefully you can have sync for devices or at least ability to export decks so we can review across devices. Thanks!

No other apps offer the real experience of using flash cards quite like this app. I have used it for 3 years and won’t stop any time soon. Being able to use my pencil was an instant 3 star rating. While it doesn’t offer some features, I am assuming this app is developed independently. The developers clearly value input from customers and have implemented changes based on review feedback many times since I purchased the app.

This app is super worth it, way more than many other services with subscriptions. It is not perfect, and will not give you all that other apps may, but personally I don’t feel I need anything else than what it has. It is either the only or one of the really few apps for Apple Pencil, overall it works fantastic, and by letting me export my flashcards and study them as normal notes as well, it has become my main way of taking notes for classes.

Great app and just what I was looking for but I wish I could also edit the flash cards in review mode too as it would make on the go changes easier rather than having to exit review mode and trying to find the flash card for a small edit.
