WI-FI WEATHER STATIONS
La Crosse View allows you to remotely track weather conditions such as temperature, humidity, wind, rain, and more, giving you access to hyperlocal data from sensors right in your backyard. The app is required to connect weather station displays to Wi-Fi, program location settings to receive local Internet weather forecasts on the stations, and set up Data Streams for custom messaging and weather updates.
ALERT & MONITORING SYSTEMS
Monitor water detection for basements, sinks, and appliances, temperature throughout your home (or in the freezer), humidity in various spaces, open/closed status of doors and gates, pool conditions, food temps, and more. La Crosse View is required to connect Bridge Gateways (sensor relays) to Wi-Fi, set and receive custom app alerts, and view data remotely, anytime, anywhere.
EASY SETUP & MANAGEMENT
La Crosse View features a guided walkthrough that ensures Weather Stations and Bridge Gateways sync with your Wi-Fi network, and wireless sensors are easily paired with your app. From there, customize sensor locations with personal images for easy reference, view detailed graphs to study trends over time, manage multiple locations and devices from one application, and share access with family members as needed. La Crosse View Reviews

Functional but clunky

CliveFouche on

Very easy to install and connect to the weather station and internet. However La Crosse have let themselves down with the type of data displayed. Everything seems to be over the last twenty four hours which can push into yesterday instead of 00:00hrs to 24:00hrs. What has happened over the last hour is fairly useful but what happened this time yesterday is a bit of a moot point. Some of the information is wildly inaccurate coming off the servers and displaying on the screen. Moderate UV index in the middle of the night doesn’t match reality for obvious reasons. Also the app does not show Barometric pressure which the display unit does. This would be useful wit an accompanying graph. Update 30 November 2024. The app is showing completely different information to the main screen. The Nylex Rain Gauge has 3mm rain in 24 hours. The main screen shows 2.5mm in 24 hours. The app shows 5mm. There is something seriously wrong here. The chill factor is wildly wrong.

Easy

Very limited

You cannot connect your PWS ID, you require another App and it does not work for my V4Pro wireless. The interface is average and data views very basic. Disappointing that La Crosse cannot provide a good experience for customer who are obviously interested in nice data and tends over longer periods.

Great concept, shocking operation

All good from me

Works great as far as I’m concerned. Alerts for rain and wind can be set easily. Somebody on here was complaining that it doesn’t indicate wind direction, when it actually does, right beside the wind speed. You can manually refresh the data by clicking the refresh wheel, easy? Also, if you don’t want to see the photo, hit the button that displays all of the sensors on the same screen. Haven’t had an issue with connectivity at all to date. All good from me.

Can’t configure
