## Lake Images Description
The Lake Images Patient App is used by patients to securely access medical imaging results and to request an appointment at one of the Lake Imaging radiology clinics throughout Victoria.

This app will allow you, the patient, to view and easily share results with your family and/or other health professionals. Once your scan is complete and your results are ready to view, an SMS/text message link will be sent to your mobile device or email, for you to activate your account and set a secure password.

Providing the referring doctor has granted access, most results will be available approximately 7 days after the examination has been reported by a Lake Imaging Radiologist, apart from Obstetric Ultrasounds images, which will be available to view 3 hours after the scan.

Please note, your referring doctor will have access to your images and report as soon as they are available. You should always return to your doctor to discuss your results.

Once you have activated your account, a notification will be sent to view any future results via the app. This gives you the ability to keep a copy of your personal radiology results on file, which you can access anywhere, anytime.

The ‘Request an Appointment’ feature allows you to arrange a booking at one of our radiology clinics. Simply select the type of imaging service required, choose your preferred location, time and date, then upload a photo of the referral form provided to you by your doctor. Once submitted, a member of our staff will contact you to book and confirm the appointment.

If you require assistance with the Lake Images Patient App, please email images@lakeimging.com.au with a description of the matter.

## Lake Images Reviews in Australia

### *---- "Images are offline"
App says they will be retrieved in 30 mins. Been waiting several days for images to be downloaded. Useless app.
-- chef778, 2023-07-03

### ***** "Fabulous Service"
Apart from the delay sometimes - which can easily be fixed if you email them - I reckon this service is marvellous.
Being able to access your scans, see reports etc, is terrific.
Had a lung scan for one specialist and then was able to show details months later to a different specialist - what a time & effort saver!
-- Kazthegreat, 2023-02-23

### *---- "Poor Service"
I’ve been trying for over a week to get access I wouldn’t bother
-- chunkalunk 1, 2022-02-01

### *---- "Can’t give no stars"
It’s all fine and well to have the convenience of making appointments online, but when you make the appointment, the branch you nominate do not get back to you with an appointment. I once waited two weeks, to ring them and see how much longer it would be, and I was told they didn’t get the request. Fix the app, train the staff, whatever, to make this work efficiently
-- Catsvee, 2021-07-15

### *---- "No video"
Just got 131 separate almost-identical images of my baby instead of a video file. Checked with them and the app ‘doesn’t do video, only still images’. All I wanted was to show the people who weren’t allowed to come with me due to COVID my baby’s heart beating but I can’t, and Lake Imaging itself couldn’t tell me if the upload was automatic from their scanner or whether a local copy of a video file got saved and uploaded afterwards because ’that’s technical’. Their over-reliance on an app that doesn’t have video functionality seems like a small thing but in this day and age it should be standard. Video files aren’t exceptional.
