The Lakesurf Balance Board app is part wakesurf simulator, part game controller, part fitness device, and a huge amount of fun! This system uses the sensors in your iPhone or iPod to track your Lakesurf Balance Board's every move as you ride it, giving you realtime feedback. 

Pair this app, our revolutionary wakesurf freeride simulator, with our innovative Lakesurf Balance Board and Lakesurf Phone Holder to for the ultimate in-home balance training experience. Our system provides the most surf-like feel possible in the comfort of your own home. Perfect for working on your board sports skills between sessions or all year long. Simply launch the app, select an experience, mirror your iPhone or iPod screen to your TV screen, and start shredding!

The Lakesurf Balance Board app now comes with a complete fitness module. Build your own custom workouts from our library of 75 exercises, or select one of our pre-built curated workouts and improve your strength, balance, endurance, and overall body shape. Each exercise is enhanced by uniquely using the Lakesurf Balance Board, meaning you get a more effective and fun workout.

Be sure to check out the included games, which will strengthen your core, improve your balance, and hone your skills while you play. Test your wave-keeping skills in "Money Run" - a game where you collect coins and do tricks to earn points while wakesurfing. Don't go too far forward or too far back on the wave or you'll lose it! Tune your balance skills while you play "Shape Shifter" - a game where you tilt your board to control your shapely avatar and direct it to go down the correct path.

The freeride simulator will help you learn the mechanics of wakesurfing - lean forward on your balance board to move your board on the screen up the wave, lean back to move back the wave, twist and lean side to side to carve up and down the wave. Learn to throw your tricks at the right time and in the right position on the wave. You can even do transfers from one side of the wake to the other!

Twist, rock, lean, and spin your way to mastering new wakesurfing tricks, and improving your balance and strength at the same time. Riding the balance board on its own is fun, but this app takes the fun to a whole new level. Whether you want a chill practice session on a stationary board or a more rigorous session on the virtual wake on your TV screen, this app can do it.

In addition to wakesurf simulation, the Lakesurf Balance Board app includes interactive, professional wakesurfing tutorials led by the 2021 CWSA world champion Sean Silveira. Want to nail that 360 behind the boat? Practice in your living room with Sean teaching you how. Want to take the intimidation out of learning a 180 shuv-it? Go through the tutorial that breaks it down into 4 easier steps that you can practice individually before doing them all at once.

The Lakesurf Balance Board app uses state of the art motion recognition software to track and recognize the tricks that you complete, and store your data for later viewing. We recorded the motion of professional wakesurfers executing tricks, and used that data to develop algorithms that can determine how well you're executing those tricks yourself while you practice on your balance board. You can see how much time you've logged, how many reps you've logged and how many calories you've burned on a daily or weekly basis.

Easy instruction and app interface. Sound and video glitches often while using AirPlay.  I really wish the app would give user feedback to the tutorials being done correctly and pass the user on to the next module once proper completion is recorded.  More games with better interface feedback would also improve the experience

We surf nearly year round. This is good for eroding your balance because you’re not actually riding down wave or countering push. Don’t do it. You are just still. It’s no surprise really. I like static drills and deck tricks just for body awareness and training. That’s cool.  The whole riding behind the boat on cast to TV with all the lag is just dumb. Also it only cast to my LG tvs. Not my Sony's.  Good experiment folks. Please shelf it and do something cooler.
