### **--- "🚨Do not recommend as a teacher👎"
It’s great for the first two weeks but after that you never get students to teach. There are too many teachers and not enough active students taking lessons despite there being a lot student accounts on it. The platform is nice but it isn’t reliable.
There really isn’t a lot of support for teachers new to the platform, I recommend preply as an alternative if your looking to start teaching

I currently teach on this app and it is amazing! You are able to go available and wait for calls from students at your leisure. There are also options to teach Business English and IELTS courses. The students are very nice and are eager to have meaningful conversations with you! The students are adults and most of them are professionals or college students.

This is a great resource for students and teachers. Students can connect with a teacher of their choosing, and set an appointment or just call if the teacher is available. The video lesson can be voice or video allowing students flexibility and the app itself has all the necessary resources. As a teacher who enjoys remote work, it is great.

The platform is so good for someone who wants to have a part time job because they can actually have us a job opportunity to be flexible with our time, what I like the most probably is to open the time whenever I am available and students will just call me any time they want, and we can talk in a natural, and I think this is both good for students and teachers.

If you’re looking for an online teaching platform, Language Master is definitely a good place to start. The app is easy to use and the process to register as a teacher is simple and straightforward. I’ve had zero problems with HR, they’ve only been incredibly nice and helpful in answering any questions I have. The students are also very enthusiastic to practice speaking English with native speakers. Definitely the most flexible and easygoing teaching job I’ve had.

Working at LanguageMaster is a awesome! Their platform is incredibly flexible, and the staff excels in both communication and friendliness. Also, the app is very user-friendly on both ends, from the teacher and the students. This makes communication with the students very interactive. Meeting students from all over China adds to the enjoyment, and the freedom to log on and off at my convenience makes it the most flexible job I've ever had. Happy to be part of Lan-Master!

I agree with the other prospective teachers who wrote negative reviews on this company.  I worked as a manager for them for several months and can say Lucy (the S. African interviewing  teachers, who is referenced as “black” in other reviews) is delaying or blocking your success, as she views qualified teachers as competition (teachers are competing for students on the app).  She even delayed verifying my master’s degree for months—with continued excuses—and I was on the management team!   Worse, I caught her throttling other teachers’ acceptance—even though they were more qualified to teach than she is (she has a thick, non-native accent).  When I continually tried to being up the fact there were non-native speakers in my department pretending to be native, no action was ever taken.  The owner needs to wake up and realize she is ruining his reputation and business, as he is blindly allowing her to make company decisions based on her self-interests (she once emotionally argued with me that non-native speakers could teach pronunciation better than native speakers—then proceeded to send me an anonymous, but profane message). There are more issues, but time does not allow me to elaborate.  This app is a hard pass.

I highly recommend Language Master. I have taught ESL online for over 8 years and when many companies teaching children went under with the new Chinese Ministry of Education laws I started teaching for Language Master. 

Students are lovely, and I have only had great experiences with the LM Admins. They are very good maintaining open communication with teachers.

I tried applying to teach here to fill up my free time, which I am not teaching at, because it isn’t overcrowded with teachers like Palfish but the whole thing was a joke. Firstly, your profile automatically gets set as a “student” so as soon as you register, teachers start attacking you with messages for you to learn English with them. Secondly, they use different rates and pay non-natives ridiculously lower. Thirdly, it takes them forever to get back to you to apply. I was bounced to somewhere in S. Africa to a lady who had an ‘audio’ interview with me. She kept going on about how they don’t have a racist hiring system and that she is black, blah blah, then she comes up with the results for me saying there is a “slight accent issue” with my application and that they can’t sell me as a British teacher because they charge more for those! I have over 14 years of experience, a Master’s degree in Education, a Cambridge CELTA but speak with a neutral accent as I am bi-racial. I had to tell them my whole life story from A to Z but apparently that wasn’t enough! On the other hand, if you don’t know anything about teaching and want to make some extra money on the side (getting paid peanuts) and practise your teaching, it could be a good start as there are even kids teaching there with no experience whatsoever. Anyways good luck to them and the students. 😂

First of all ,l have taught with other apps on the market but lm think this is the best and this is why.
1.You can make a decent income as long as you open more evening slots .The app also rewards teachers who sell the courses.You can make lots of extra money just by selling courses 
2.The App has teachers from all over the world .They do not discriminate against skin color as long as you have a neutral accent and you’re a qualified teacher
3.The app constantly has updates which make it more user friendly .Connection issues is something that used to bother me in the beginning but that has greatly improved .

I’ve been trying to use this app as a teacher , first of all it was super hard to get my profile approved ( the app assistant just constantly rejected my profile without giving any reason ((((((( then I’ve finally after long time got my profile approved . So I’ve found out that the payment is lower than it was promised . The app developers deduct a big amount of money from teachers. Secondly there are few students who will real make calls. Thirdly there is no support from developers they just ignore any msg and requests from teachers so if u got any issue u will have to deal with it by ur own self (((( I’m very disappointed about this app and would recommend it to others
