Ich bin echt froh, dass ich Langotalk gefunden habe. Beinahe ich hätte ich sie mir nicht geladen, weil sie nicht so häufig im Netz empfohlen wird. Ich lerne seit einem halben Jahr mit Mondly Italienisch, hab aber jetzt im Urlaub festgestellt, dass ich meine Fähigkeiten kaum anwenden kann, da ich bisher immer nur gelernt habe, Sätze nachzusprechen, aber keine eigenen Sätze zu formulieren. Das klappt mit Langotalk super. Die KI versteht ca. 95 % von dem, was ich so auf italienisch radebreche, verbessert, lobt, übt und vertieft anschließend mit mir die Dinge, die ich falsch gemacht habe. Nachdem ich mit Mondly mittlerweile kaum noch einen Lernfortschritt verzeichnen kann, macht es mit Langotalk echt Spaß zu sehen, wie man Schritt für Schritt die Hemmungen verliert zu sprechen und auch endlich die oftmals schwierige italienische Grammatik versteht.

Tiene un excelente funcionamiento, pero sólo si pagas. Las opciones de no pago son excesivamente limitadas, son el repaso de algunas palabras y sin interferencias de la AI. No vale la pena, porque en ese caso puedes pagar chat GPT y le dices que hablen el idioma que quieres aprender y que te corrija, ya que es más barato.

I live in Germany and learn German, I already had B1 level when I started to use this app. I have a big problem holding a conversation and using the grammar I learned over the years, and I think this app is perfect for it. I also get social anxiety every time I try to speak in German, so I hated both 1/1 and group lessons in traditional schools to an extent I would always drop it. I feel incredible stress talking to real people and sounding like an idiot, which obviously hinders my language learning. However, I feel much more at ease practicing with AI, and they also give feedback and hints right away, so I can be conscious about my grammar and learn new words. There are also flashcards you can make from conversations and fun story-making for when you really don’t feel like talking even to AI.

I have tried multiple programs for language learning with AI and this app has the most features of all. It has a good voice recognition and the correction of my answers are helpful. I have chosen the option for a lifetime access and it is cheaper than most other language learning apps. And there are many websites, where the tax is added at the end, because it’s different depending on the Country. I would absolutely recommend this app.

But it is asking all 2 minutes if i can post a review. It should at least let me play around for a day until it asks for the first time...

Cool concept but so greedy it’s unbelievable… it costs more than ChatGPT plus, and everything this app does can be done in ChatGPT, except for those little images. Would have been a cool app, but the developer sadly chose greed

Die App ist grundsätzlich super aufgebaut und insbesondere perfekt für Menschen, die Hemmungen haben, Gespräche in einer Fremdsprache zu sprechen. Es gibt viele Themen, Szenarien und Gesprächspartner mit unterschiedlichen Akzenten. Dass eine solche App - trotz AI - nicht kostenfrei ist, versteht sich von selbst. Verglichen mit anderen Sprachenlernapps steht der Preis jedoch in absolut keinem Verhältnis, da es sich auch nicht etwa um Gruppenabos handelt, welche mit anderen Usern geteilt werden können (wie etwa das etwas teurere Duolingo-Abo). Außerdem ist eine Buchung über die Website günstiger als über die App und zunächst werden Preise ohne Umsatzsteuer und lediglich im Nachhinein in Klammern angezeigt. Da fühlt man sich als grundsätzlich zahlungswilliger Kunde doch etwas verars***. Schade

€22 a month for an AI chat bot?! What?! You can book lessons on iTalki with professional linguists for less money per month. That is an unbelievable price for a chat bot that answers in simple, one-idea phrases. I think this app has so much potential and it’s such a wonderful idea, the UI is pretty interesting, but clearly the developer is over charging because the buzzword “AI” is involved!

I really wish i could at least finish a conversation before getting cut off by the subscription ad :/ you only have like 5 messages to write and then if you want to continue the conversation you have to pay a hefty subscription…not cool

You can’t even finish a single conversation before you reach the pay wall. Interesting concept though.
