After the iOS 18 update, I got message saying my phone is jailbroken and can no longer use the app. I’ve never jailbroken my phone🤷🏼‍♀️. Tried to recover my photos using their form and never got them

Although this app was tedious to set up, I loved the concept and sharing it with my friends. The update where the feed switched to community and friends posts are now stories ruined it. That small change really disturbed the user experience.

I went on a trip to a zip lining obstacle course for mine and my twin sister’s birthday. While there I took pretty photos of the course and of all the fall colors. They were some of my favorite photos taken from today because of the filter. I took them while out and away from a wifi connection like I had done many times before with this app, but for some reason they have disappeared from the darkroom, my archives, and shared photos even with a wifi connection. I am very upset because photos I had taken shortly after at a restaurant (still not connected to wifi) saved perfectly fine and uploaded once I arrived home. I would love to know where my photos went and if it’s at all possible to get them back because they captured moments I didn’t get with any other camera or app.

Please. I have zero friends and I’m anti social. Please don’t make me add 6 friends before I can even use the app. 
I just simply will not use it at all which is a shame.

Would rather scroll through a feed of my friends instead of strangers… Having to view them through blurred stories is crazy, it really killed the app for me.

Cute app but the couple of friends I invited deleted it immediately after signing up because they were overwhelmed or other friends wouldn’t download it at all because they didn’t want to invite 5 people. Soo yeah, makes it pretty unwelcoming even though they liked my recaps and the concept. I pushed through all that and really enjoy it but it’s mostly just for me and a few acquaintances on there. Send out a notification when it’s easier to join and I can tell my friends again then! 

Also, the widget should totally be optional.

I’m not sure if this is just me but the instant snaps that you can send to your friends used to be downloadable. Now when i download them they save on my iphone either as a blank white screen or a blank black screen.

Love the app! I love the vintage look of the photos. But the latest update is horrible! The way to view your friends posts gives a Snapchat feel and id rather have it the old version where you can just scroll the homepage. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK.

I loved lapse so much. So fun to see what your friends are up to and share your life with them. Then they updated it and all you can see is the community pictures (which is people you don’t even know). It’s terrible now, I can’t even scroll through my friends pictures anymore they are totally separated and weird. Please fix this.

i loved this app but i use it to share pics with my friends, i don’t want to see the community tab. having friends posts come up as stories is soooooo annoying, i have to click through the same pics i’ve already seen a million times to see all their new posts. go back to how it was :(

Very unenjoyable. They made the layout horrible. Why would I want to see the lives of a bunch of white people?(sorry ani). No one wants to see where they smoke and drink I’m CHRISTIAN. Keep your white feeds to yourself and bring back my friends.

I don’t know what the point of combining the explore and friends tab into one was. If I wanted to see random people’s photos on my community screen I would’ve just used instagram. It’s not like before the update you couldn’t see community photos on a separate tab—at least there was the option to look or not look if one wished. Please get rid of this it irks me that I can’t turn it off
