TURNING IT ON
To turn on LastPass Authenticator for your LastPass account:
1. Download LastPass Authenticator to your mobile device.
2. Log in to LastPass on your computer and launch “Account Settings” from your vault.
3. In “Multifactor Options”, edit LastPass Authenticator and view the barcode.
4. Scan the barcode with the LastPass Authenticator app.
5. Set your preferences and save your changes.
LastPass Authenticator can also be turned on for any service or app that supports Google Authenticator or TOTP-based two-factor authentication.
LOGGING IN
To login to your LastPass account or other supported vendor service:
1. Open the app to generate a 6-digit, 30-second code OR approve/deny an automated push notification
2. Alternatively, send SMS code
3. Enter the code into the login prompt on your device OR hit approve/deny request

La configuration de l’authentification était difficile
Pas très user-friendly la configuration de la double authentification, j’ai réussi à la configurer au bout de 5 essais
Les notifications sont revenues !
Enfin les notifications sont revenues, plus besoin de taper le code ! Il aura fallu plusieurs mois quand même…
Ne l’utilisez pas !
Ma dernière mise à jour de l’app a effacé mes codes 2FA enregistrés… merci beaucoup… mon last pass utilisait aussi ce 2FA, bilan: je n’ai plus aucun 2FA utilisable et en conséquence je n’ai plus d’accès à last pass et donc plus accès à mes mots de passe enregistrés. Aucun service, pas de contact possible en cas de pb… fuyez !
Never possible to start the app
App display error message even after latest update. Terrible
Some small improvements
- A small copy to clipboard button a one side of every the field - In the browser extension, have a small history of recent search, I frequently go back and forth between a web page and the extension, for now I have to search each time I click on the extension
Reliable tool for password management
Excellent tool. Could be simpler to use for the managing shared passwords for a family.

Been using it for all my MFA accounts without a hitch for the last few years. Nothing to report other than it works. And super easy to restore if you change devices.
