After using bionics for unlocking the account I get a message that I need to set my master password. And a spinner. 

The spinner never goes away so there is NO WAY TO SET PASSWORD. 

Of course to get support, I must be logged in. So my account is basically gone. Amazing for a payed service.

I used LastPass for over four years, during which I could reset my password if needed and recover data with biometrics without any issues.

Recently, I lost my master password, and it felt like I was caught in a Catch-22 situation. To reset my password via email, I needed to set up and log in to their Chrome extension. However, this didn't work because I didn't have the login information.

I also attempted to recover my account using Face ID on my phone, which initially seemed promising. However, it got stuck in an endless operation while trying to retrieve my account data. I waited for 30 minutes, but it never succeeded, and subsequent attempts yielded the same result.

I reached out to support for assistance, but they informed me that I couldn't reset my password without the premium version (which I couldn't even upgrade to without logging in).

Ultimately, I switched to Dashlane instead of LastPass, and it has been working well for me so far.

I’ve been using LastPass for some years now and keep renewing it every year. It makes it easy to be more secure by using different long complicated passwords for every single login I have at numerous websites accross the web. Easy to organize in different folders etc. Recommended.

Lastpass used to work fine but somewhere something went south. It’s great when it works but hell on earth when it doesn’t.  Just now Lastpass asked me to reauthorize my Lastpass Aunthenticator.  Now it doesn’t work at all. So, instead of getting my work done, for 30 wasted minutes I’m screwing around with Lastpass. The bottom line is that Lastpass is meant to save time. Since it doesn’t I can’t use it.

I’ve used LastPass for the past 3 years and within those years there’s been 4 breaches that I know of, each breach pretty much exploited some very sensitive data that I had that I pretty much had to assume was not only stolen but used as well. 

As a password manager knowing they are setting a lot of security on the line they do not keep up to date on the latest threats as they should and they are being sloppy, sure it stores your password but for what good is that when it doesn’t secure it?

It makes no sense, there are better versions out there and competitors who are advancing in a much better, cleaner and most of all SAFER service than what LastPass does. DO NOT recommend to pay for the app and especially not for a yearly sub because you’re just wasting your money. Make sure to do your research before looking into it, I’m going to Dashlane.

The recent security breach and the subsequent updates shows that LastPass has been become complacent and even negligent in regards to their IT-Security. That's not really something I want to see in a product managing all of my logins.

If you used lastpass, to change anything after the latest breach won’t help… they made a copy of all the user vault, you can’t change anything in a copy.
I suggest all lastpass users leave this app and reroll to like heylogin/1Password or KeePassXC

And time to get mail alias and use it which SimpleLogin has (proton mail runs this service)

I have 1 unique email and 35+ unique password and yubikey to what ever is possible.

LastPass sucks… only downloaded to be able to write a review.
