Extremely expensive and difficult to get started - no thorough tutorial for iOS newbie - wish I hadn’t purchased it
I had launcher on my phone for a long time, but revisited it in last few days. I was a bit lost for a while as had to learn what everything does - also need to be accurate in set up otherwise there are issues. Having more flexibility with my Lock Screen is fantastic. Have put some core apps there for quick access. Also travelling shortly so a classic widget with all the hotel and airline apps quite handy.
The introduction of interactive widgets in iOS 17 is something that I didn’t realise I would love so much! The implementation in app is perfect and helping me to get rid of additional launchers and reducing the number of Home Screens I need!
I’ve been a long-time user of Launcher, and loved the ability to maximise the number of frequently-used apps I could access from the widgets in notification centre. But with the new widgets on iOS14, it’s even better. It really comes in to its own if you pay to upgrade so you can resize icons. I have a widget on my Home Screen which is two-rows deep, but contains 18 app launchers. They are easy to identify and select, but so much more compact. Support is good too. I had to reach out for the first time ever and received very helpful advice about changing the URL scheme for an app after changes by that developer. If you think Apple’s widgets like Siri Suggestions are useful, I reckon you’re gonna love Launcher. Update: This app just gets better and better. The developer is very quick to add launchers for any app not in the collection, and the new lock-screen and now live activity launchers are very good, overcoming many of the limitations with just those provided by Apple.
Please add "Sub folder" function. Maybe with a HoldFolder-SlideFingerToTargetApp/Action-ReleaseToLaunch. Cheers
Added widgets to Apple Watch but nothing works. Very disappointing.
This was a good app, now requires a regular restart ios 15 and 14 to make shortcuts work. It was very useful in the past but it appears to be abandoned by the developer.
This may be a limitation of the OS - but still trying to find a way to add an icon to the Home Screen to simply dial a number or send an iMessage. Not there yet!!!
The description says that the free version can launch every app on the device. This is not true. For a number of apps I need to create shortcuts because it cannot launch the app... this is cumbersome.
Enjoying your app and the new style widgets, however, two apps don’t launch correctly. Microsoft Edge goes to Hmmm... can’t reach this page. Xbox just hangs and doesn’t open. Other than that very good. I like being able to stack your launchers with other widgets. Makes for a tidy Home Screen. I also like being able to adjust how many apps can be launched from a widget and removing app labels too. Would be great if there was a small size widget. I am running iOS 14.2 on iPhone Xs Max.
