My 6 year old loves fun French. It’s been nearly three months and he still asks to do it. The games are different and engaging and really fun. His feedback is ‘i really like it(!)’ 

We moved to France with him not speaking French and although he goes to school we are very much still in the very very early learning phase but this is massively helping.

 He feels safe to try stuff out and it’s repetition is excellent for his standard. Love it. Couldn’t recommend enough.

This app gives you a free trial and then charges you for one years access. However it only has enough content to keep your child occupied for a month or two (at most). It’s good content, but there is no way I should have paid for a year.

Update: In response to the developer reply. 

At no point have I suggested the content be given away for free, you do have to make a living. I do however take issue with being charged for a full years access when there is no more than a couple of months content available- at most.

I think this could be a great app, but at the moment it is too hard to understand (especially for young children like my 5yo).

For example in 'colour search', you are told to find a colour, rouge for example, but everything in the picture is grey! You then have to guess what *might* be red - could be the jumper...the blind, the teddy, the pillow... If you guess wrong, did you misunderstand the meaning? Or is something else in the picture supposed to be the colour you are looking for? It would be so much easier if the picture was colour to start with.

Another hard one is 'palette'. Not only do you need to understand the colour they are asking you to make, but also which colours are mixed together to make that colour and what SHADE of that colour you are trying to make! I tried very hard to get to the end of that game but just couldn't. I gave up, and if I can't do it, I can't expect my 5yo to understand how to do it.

Make it easier and I will seriously consider purchasing the full version, but not when it's so hard to understand.
