Super helpful if you’re serious about learning the language as a whole not just speaking it. -- Rylus Legrand, 2025-04-30 ### ****- "Grammar" I learned a lot about Japanese and its grammar, and it aligns with my thoughts on learning to program, BUT with Japanese instead. I learned how to speak, properly… not the English grammar. Ex: 「とき」gets the same info across as 「こんにちは、僕とき。」, which was a specific example, from lesson 1, section three. Just the price for premium… that’s the only thing. -- TokynBlast, 2025-04-13 ### ***** "10 out of 10" It’s way too useful -- beetsko, 2025-02-17 ### ***** "THE BEST" I was learning Japanese on Duolingo and it seemed to be taking an inordinately long time. Then I found this app. It is amazing! It teaches you Japanese not like an English speaker thinks, but as a native Japanese speaker thinks, which was just what I wanted! Thank you Tae Kim for a great app! -- dmkennedy, 2025-01-03 ### ***** "Everyone needs this app." I have been studying Japanese for 13 years. I discovered Tae Kim’s guide several years ago and it changed my life. I bought the next version, but was upset when the app was removed from the App Store because I couldn’t recommend it to friends and students anymore… however, I just found this app, a new Tae Kim app! And I couldn’t be happier. Now when students ask me for recommendations of apps to use, I can recommend the greatest Japanese resource that exists for English speakers. This guide is a MUST HAVE for beginners. Throw everything else away!!! -- ブルサード先生, 2024-12-20 ### ****- "Great app" Great app so far but the sound doesn’t work which is very unfortunate. -- Namenickedd, 2024-12-19 ### ***** "Shockingly good" Easy to read with good explanations. A digital textbook with built-in quizzes. Gets straight to the point. -- Peace and Love to All Games, 2024-09-02 ### ***** "ly" tysm -- isukateru, 2024-08-18 ### ***** "Love!!" I love the flashcards and quizzing features. I love taking tests and this app is perfect -- betzwon, 2024-08-02 ### ****- "Great app with one annoying bug" Love the info and simple layout of the app, but I noticed that the lesson content goes blank when the app is suspended for a bit of time and you have to scroll back to where you were. -- rbfrappier, 2024-05-12 [View all Learn Japanese reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Learn Japanese Discovered Keywords - learn japanese - japanese learning app - japan - hiragana - japanese learning - kana - learning japanese - for japan - learn japanese words - japanese books ## Apps Similar to Learn Japanese - [Satori Reader](https://apptail.io/app/satori-reader-APo/united-states) - [Kanji Study - Learn Japanese!](https://apptail.io/app/kanji-study-learn-japanese-ZpK/united-states) - [Shirabe Jisho](https://apptail.io/app/shirabe-jisho-bqK/united-states) - [Write It!
