Wouldn’t let me view the flashcards

loompalandia on

I’m taking Henle Latin and I wanted to use an app to help me remember the words in each lesson. I downloaded the app and chose the Henle option but it said I had to buy the Henle First Year book (which I already have) to look at the flashcards. I only can look at the sample flashcards and I have been doing everything to get the flashcards, but couldn’t.

Reverse review?

okiren on

This is a great app idea and it looks like all of the previous reviewers’ complaints about the app have been resolved in the latest version. There’s only one obvious thing that I still see missing: there is no way to review from English to Latin but only starting with the Latin. Can this be so, am I not seeing a toggle switch that actually exists? We do both kinds of reviewing from day one with the physical flash cards. It’s an important feature for the app to have.

As expected, 1 major suggestion

The font is so small I can’t hold the phone across the table and study with my kid.

Definitely helpful.

It is a good flash card app, it would be great if there was audio reading the cards to help with pronunciation. Even better if you could choose between Ecclesiastical and Classical pronunciation.

Good!

My kids are learning Latin and they love this app. You should definitely get it! Easy to use.

Wonderful resource for Memoria Press Latin Forms

LisaInCincy on

This is a great tool for when you are on-the-go and trying to review without taking along a boxful of flash cards. We homeschool and use MP Latin forms. Once you get to Third-Form, you have literally a boxful of flash cards. No one wants to lug all that along. This app is a boon! My suggestion would be to have at the end of the lessons all of the vocabulary from all lessons for end of year and post year reviewing. I would appreciate having this as a review for when my student has moved onto the next form but still needing to keep their review up.

No Family Sharing????

lucy v pelt on

The title says it all. What a rip off. I don’t see that anywhere in the description of the app. The primary reason I bought this ON MY PHONE was to share with my daughter on her iPod . Now I’m out $15. I didn’t even realize there were still apps this archaic. Please fix this. I’m off to get a refund.

Too many problems, very disappointing

Blessed2bmom on

Too many problems with this app: 1. This app will not work with my ipad after I download it. 2. I wanted to use “family sharing” so that my kids could use it too. But that will not work either. 3. It requires live connection to the internet. As far as I’ve found, none of these items are disclosed in the description. The developers surely know that their customers desire these features. I intend to request a refund for this sub-par app.

No upper levels for Memoria Press

mamatothetribe on

Was excited about this app, but it’s not available for kindle and my kids are in second and third form, which aren’t on there. Bummer! This looked awesome.
