When it doesn’t work, customer service go around in circles ticking off obvious steps like reinstalling the app. Quoting days to get an answer from their tech team. I wouldn’t use them again after a poor experience the first time. -- Eastcity.london, 2026-09-07 ### *---- "You will have a stressful and expensive experience" I bought the plan 2 days before my travels. One day before my flight, the plan was no longer shown in the app. I texted the support centre and they tell you to reinstall the App every time, which deletes the chat. When I called them, they ensured me that the plan is active and will work. The call cost me £5 and surprise the plan didn’t work. I had to find a public WiFi in order to use the taxi app. Super stressful and unfortunately not at all dealt with by the client support! -- Ujfjeikrbfbb, 2026-09-01 ### **--- "Cant force upgrades on peoplel while travelling" Poor support and app accidentally activated week before holiday meaning it would run out half way through. Support said they could do nothing. After landing tool several hours to activate, bu at least the timer started only then. -- Slonimoska, 2026-08-30 ### *---- "Don’t buy them" It’s a right old mess. It doesn’t work. -- Frunchuperla, 2026-08-23 ### *---- "doesnt work" went france , do not buy or use this -- jessa0801, 2026-08-12 ### ***** "Best thing since sliced bread" Easy buying journey and quick installation and activation! -- Bad-Cop, 2026-08-11 ### *---- "Complete waste of money" App never works. Left us all stranded at the airport unable to download toll apps in USA. No maps. Was a complete disaster. Don’t waste your money. -- JustmeJulesy, 2026-08-11 ### *---- "Rubbish" Allowed UK purchase of North America eSIM which worked in the first service provider region. As I travelled nothing worked. Lebara online support chat said it wasn’t a UK purchase even though Order ID contains ‘GB’ reference. Waste of my money. -- Rexy10, 2026-08-10 ### *---- "eSIM" Cannot get connected - no matter what- even the email is not easy to access the correct email to send. Paid for a 30 day 25gb but now 5 days gone - still no connection -- dangerous ordering, 2026-08-05 ### *---- "Does not work" Waste of money, does not have reception anywhere in Turkey. DO NOT BUY -- muzzy5000, 2026-08-05 ### *---- "Appalling app" Keep well away. All seemed good until I actually got to America and the app would not work. I had to pay my phone supplier to get internet. It didn’t work, I didn’t use any of the data I paid for and they wouldn’t even consider a refund. I don’t write reviews normally but feel people need to be made aware of this totally unreliable & untrustworthy product. -- Maffpg, 2026-08-05 ### *---- "Don’t buy Lebara ESIM" I paid £20 and spoke to their support team before departure, who promised it would be active as soon as I arrived at my destination. However, the eSIM did not work at all on arrival. I was extremely stressed; I tried to use shared hotspots from other people but nothing worked. I requested a refund, but received no response or information. I am leaving this review to warn others: do not let them rip you off and leave you stranded and stressed far from home. -- emmadebranson7, 2026-07-30 ### *---- "Poor service and connection" Bought 3 plans for turkey whilst in uk couldn’t use properly had to rely on wi-Fi most of the time, absolute con ! Same happened when I bought plans for Morocco, I should of learnt my lesson then ,Don’t bother buying plans - customer service talks in circles so you never really get to the bottom of it all whilst stuck without internet connection, stick with other providers -- Adsjane123, 2026-07-25 ### ***** "Recommend!!" Excellent service. Used is twice in USA and Netherlands. No issues with data. Did drop a couple of times but recovered very quickly as well! Would recommend:). -- The geeky girl?, 2026-07-23 ### *---- "Horrendous e sim" Paid 30 for a 50GB eSIM that works across Greece I land in Greece and activate the SIM card and all of a sudden the country in which I bought it for (Greece) has now changed to Austria so was unable to use. Waste of money and time. Completely Unreliable. -- flapjacktim, 2026-07-17 ### **--- "think twice" I activated this before I departed hoping it would work right after I arrive in the states but man, it took me over an hour without data signal and I had to find a wifi just to find me an uber cause this is unreliable -- quit ML for good, 2026-07-16 ### *---- "Didn’t work - use someone else" The eSIM never connected on my phone. I spoke to support for hours and never solved it. Requested a refund but was never provided. I used a competitor in the end and it immediately connected. Bad product and service -- HunterB491, 2026-07-04 ### *---- "Unlock my esim" I am trying to unlock my eSIM on app but can’t do it. I don’t know where to get help from. -- Dkaur56, 2026-07-02 ### ***** "Good" Best experience -- Nks wanderer, 2026-06-17 ### *---- "Truly awful, avoid" Just get Saily, this is the most unreliable service on earth and completely disappears randomly for hours, switched to Saily halfway through the trip and it’s been very consistent -- OooceanMan, 2026-06-17 [View all Lebara reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Lebara Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | United Kingdom | Travel | #78 | | Top Free | Netherlands | Travel | #136 | ## Lebara Discovered Keywords - lebara - travel esim ## Lebara Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/united-kingdom) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/netherlands) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/united-states) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/france) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/denmark) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/australia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/germany) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/singapore) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/italy) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/ireland) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/lebara-travel-esim-puhz/estonia) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
