When I opened app this morning , contents were blank . Please advice
I've been using this app for a week now and I say this is one of the best devotional app that I've used... Even better than paid ones. What I like about it.. 1. It focuses on the word. It does not give long explanations about it but just enough to point you towards it again. Reading it twice is a great idea! 2. The readers read with passion and clarity. The pace is just right. 3. I like the background music 4. The whole devotional is cohesive. The readings are brought together into a movement of praise, worship, reflection and submission to God. 5. The evening meditation wraps up your day. Closing it with God again. Kudos to the team creating this! I pair this with the Inner Room prayer app and my time with God is complete!
Since becoming a Christian, I’ve been told to have daily prayer routines. And for a long time that worked, but then eventually things became simple routine. I needed something different in my prayer life and something in me was longing for liturgy. I’m so grateful for this app because it is given me a space to just listen and be with God rather than alway doing for God. It helps me reflect, but also build a deep intimacy with the spirit through making space for listening.
Please take a look at the Audi play button. It spins only.
First the good- -I love the set up of pauses and talk sprinkled with scripture! -I love the variety of voices and accents from around the world -I love the quiet background music to the narrations -I love the length of the pauses Now for my issues- -Pray should be political only so far as rooting out evil from our leadership (and please let God determine who and what that is) and protection and wisdom for all who lead -Scripture recognizes no agenda or political party, but many misuse scripture to support their beliefs and I found this to be true in the creativity of justice readings. I truly hope the developers of this app will rethink how they allow their contributors to interject beliefs into their narrations. I understand cultural differences, but politics has no places in the Church!
I particularly like the evening prayers. This is helpful to revisit the day and talk to God about anything before I go to bed. I appreciate the refrain of scriptures.
Solid app it could be even better however if the audio would automatically resume if interrupted by something like Wyze or Google voice navigation.
I am grateful beyond words.
I find myself returning to this app often, especially when I’m overwhelmed. It’s a great tool to help still your mind and connect with God. Lectio Divina is a great practice but isn’t always the easiest to do alone but this app makes that more possible.
