A mysterious portal draws you into a forgotten temple, hidden deep within a vast cave system. As you explore its intricate halls, you'll uncover cryptic notes left by Theo, a once-trusted friend. What happened to him in this strange place? His discoveries have set something ancient and powerful in motion. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth and solve the mysteries that lie within.
Journey from room to room, each filled with mechanical puzzles and visual clues hidden in the environment, as you uncover the secrets of the temple. Along the way, you’ll piece together what happened to Theo and ultimately decide: Will you follow his path, or choose your own way?

Inspired by the classic point-and-click adventure games of the 90s, Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets brings the timeless puzzle-solving gameplay of the genre into the modern era. Fans of escape rooms and retro adventure games will feel right at home with intuitive controls, rich storytelling, and a world packed with mysteries to uncover.

For those looking for a challenge, Legacy 4: Tomb of Secrets offers two difficulty modes. Play in hard mode for a true test of your puzzle-solving skills, where the hint system is disabled. Or choose normal mode, where the dynamic hint system gives you subtle nudges, helping guide you without revealing the answer outright. If you get stuck, the hints gradually build to a complete solution, ensuring you’re never truly lost.

Hard to know what to do next in the game. The game has you jumping around several different areas to solve the next step. The actual puzzles were not hard but confusing how to solve on what you need. I can’t finish the game because the orange crystal I unscrewed from the lamp is not in my inventory. No clue we’re it went. Sorry Dave but I won’t be buying anymore of your games.

I love the aesthetic of the Legacy games and enjoy the puzzle and story design. In my opinion, this version may be David’s Magnum Opus. I’m sure these are a huge investment of time and effort, and THIS player truly appreciates the care put into them. Not sure what title to put above this review. I rarely write reviews. But this game warranted one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It’s not overly long, and by no means does it drag on. I appreciate the attention to detail. It’s addictive. Someone put some serious time in on this games development. 
Difficult? At times yes, frustratingly so. But you can get hints to help you out of a rut. I used them as a last resort. My bad. I used a few. And the answer was right in front of me the whole time. It was sooo obvious! Logic is a wonderful tool to employ…but bring your common sense along as well. 
I’ll wait some time before I play it again, but I will play it again. Look, you do you. There are too many positive aspects to this game for me to mention them here. I’m already looking for my next challenge, but this one will be hard to beat. I’ve played dozens of this type, and I will start over with the first one of this series.

The hint system is hit or miss, unlike in 2&3. Some of them are triggered by standing in the right location and position without a clear way of knowing what that location is without walking frame by frame checking the hint button at each step until it gives you one. If the hints worked like it did in the other chapters I’d give it an extra star. I loved that it wasn’t just about remembering where to use each item, it was also understanding the interplay of devices between rooms eg start the machine in room 5 and watch it activate the machine in room 12 etc
