A Proven Delightful Experience. Hundreds have enjoyed this SelfTour Audio Adventure since it was first introduced in 2002. It has now been updated. As they say, things change rapidly in Hollywood! We have preserved much of the original audio tracks performed by two memorable personalities who are no longer with us… actress Debbie Reynolds and Hollywood’s long-time honorary Mayor, Johnny Grant. The perfect travel companion!

This app was a perfect companion to our first time in Hollywood. We loved getting to explore the city at our own pace but still get all the information of a guided tour. It saved us money and it made for a rich experience in Los Angeles I know we would have missed out on without the app. We’re excited to try the other SelfTour apps for other cities!

Great Find!

I’m a big fan of learning about the history of the places I travel. I’ve had mixed luck with bus tours, walking tours and the like. Often times there’s a lot of waiting around for other people; and I almost always feel like the tour company tries to up-sell me or suggest businesses/restaurants they get a kickback from. This app was the solution for me on my recent visit to So Cal. Very informative and I could start the tour, pause and rejoin at my leisure. Additionally, I wasn’t able to see all the sites on this trip/tour, but I was able to turn off the gps and continue the tour by stepping through each site by selecting it. You can literally do this from the couch! Anyways, I look forward to seeing more cities pop-up from SelfTour in the App Store. Cheers!

Amazingly Entertaining

It’s hard to describe how engaging and entertaining this tour is. It is like the spirit of Hollywood encapsulated in a short walking adventure. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the walk of fame, and / or those looking to learn more about old Hollywood.
