## Leicestershire FoxConnect Description
Leicestershire FoxConnect is a new way to get about in the county.

It is a Digital Demand Responsive Transport (DDRT) service which offers a smart, bookable bus service that operates a flexible route within a specific area.
It provides journeys to passengers based on demand, depending on where passengers wish to travel to and from.

How it works:
- You can book your journey by using the service app, or contacting the service call centre
- You can book a journey by choosing a pickup and drop off location within the service area.
- As there is no fixed timetable, you also choose an ‘arrive by’ or ‘leave after’ time.
- The app works its magic and analyses vehicle availability, your location, preferred drop-off or pick-up time.
You will then be offered a journey

You can also book your return journey at the same time.

A booking confirmation will be sent via email or text, and you will receive a text message when the driver is on their way to your pick-up location.

What are the positives of a DDRT for your community?
- More public transport options mean less vehicles on the road and a greener, cleaner environment.
- Provides greater connectivity amongst the community
- Share your ride with others
- Better access to essential services including food shopping, healthcare, employment and educational opportunities.
- It can also be used to connect with other transport for onward travel.
- Prices are similar to that of a fixed route bus service

## Leicestershire FoxConnect Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "it’s always bloody late"
it is always late so the one time i book it 5 minutes in advance i missed it so now i have no way of getting home
-- jsjsjai.anna, 2026-03-24

### *---- "Give the old buses back"
Having to catch these buses into town so I can go to college is the most stressful thing on the planet I’ve had multiple days where there are no buses available at any time at all and even when buses are available they are always late it really shouldn’t be this difficult for me to go to college
-- Ahhhhħ, 2025-10-29

### **--- "Great concept but app is glitching"
Great concept for on demand access to transport. Works really well as a transport option but app is glitchy and inconsistent if it will load to enable you to book or change a booking. Keeps freezing on home page and really frustrating
-- WithLeics, 2025-09-04

### *---- "Nightmare to book"
Have to try numerous times to try and book anything, never excepts my time choices and keeps changing pick up spots.
Twice it has cancelled my booking and changed it to another time without informing me.
As my only transport out of the village it is untrustworthy. Ringing up to book the assistants try and be helpful but sometimes even they cannot make the booking.
On the positive side the drivers are excellent.
-- Rural widow, 2025-06-23

### *---- "pg"
useless app. doesn’t recognise my address, despite altering it many times, also says Blaby is outside of the zone.
-- Artgossip, 2025-06-13

### *---- "Bus times"
This app is really frustrating!! You try and book for 9:45 you can only book for 9:15-9:40, I try to book for 10am it wants to give me a bus at 10:30-10:50!!
-- xxhuskeyxx, 2025-04-24

### **--- "Useless"
Please bring back the scheduled bus service
