Having an app is one thing, supporting the app is another. Looks like Leslie’s only checked the first box. App itself is mediocre at best, shopping experience using the app is dreadful. No update, no communication, you simply have no idea what they are doing. Perhaps that explains Leslie’s stock price is plummeting. I guess the company and everything it is doing got stuck in the last century. It is just inconceivable!
I have had no problems ordering items for pickup at my local store. However, when I spent $717.04 on a large order to be delivered the order was lost, customer service couldn’t speak English and hung up 3 times. I never received my order and am still out almost a $1000 with no word from the company. Delivery is a scam!!!
After attempting to use the Leslie Pool app to make shopping more efficient, I found, not only does it not make the experience easier or efficient for the customer. Not only that, but when I called to find out why my order was still processing when my account had already been debited, and my husband was at the store with the products readily available and the confirmation number, the store had no information on their end, even though they can open the same account I use with the app. What is the purpose of the app? Shouldn’t it be customer friendly: which it is not, efficient from app to store and store to app: which it is not, reflect in store sales and online offers: it does not? This is not my first time using the app. I have attempted to traverse it at least once a year for the last five years. It was and continues to be TERRIBLE. If Leslie wants to compete with local stores and Amazon, major changes will need to be made, and the app would be first. Americans will buy from chains if they have a way to make their life easier. I’ve decided to subscribe to the AccuBlue home water testing. It’s almost identical to the setup in their stores, but with the convenience of testing at home. The only problem is that the setup requires this app in order to connect, and you need to be logged into your account. For over a week now my app won’t login to my account, and customer support is useless. They say they’ll help, but then no one follows up. I’d be a little more tolerant of the issue, but it’s $50/mo for the AccuBlue subscription! Get you **** together Leslie’s. I’m sure if this was affecting you monetarily (like it does me) you’d be moving quicker to resolve it.
The only options in the app is to buy their products.
When this app was first released it was fantastic. But the last two years have been horrible. They just can’t get it fixed. Try to save an at home test and all it does is give an error message. Has been this way for months now.
I love testing our pool water at home. Love the associates at the Fayetteville Leslie’s pool supply store….but, it’s nice to not have to drive each time water needs tested.
I love the idea. If only it worked. Save myself the trip to the store with my bottle of water. Just test it at home! $50 a month which gets credited back to me to buy my chemicals. Amazing idea! Unfortunately, the device has only worked once. Every single other time ends up failing to test and giving no result. Considering the rest discs may only be used once, it means my $50 will be spent completely on buying more discs. No troubleshooting codes, no error messages to tell me what’s wrong. It just spins, throws a red LED and then sits there refusing to finish the test. Sigh.
Tried this app three times on two different devices. It just says - oops something went wrong. My user name and PW work fine on the web. Don’t bother with this one.
Good app easy enough to use. My question is what happened to the options in the test screen for hazy or green pool or fresh fill? I use this app at my job and love it. Keep it up.
