Letterboxd

This app should really have an option so we can answer to other people’s reviews or chat with them. But the answers to the other reviews have a lot of potential, I often want to discuss about someone’s opinion or agree with them. It could be sooo cool and constructive !! Please make this a thing

I really dislike IMDB by now. Tried to switch. >800 ratings imported: seemed successful! Until I noticed that lots of shows are just not listed on Letterboxd, including well—known scifi such as The Expanse. Oddly, TMDB which powers Letterboxd *does* have it! So, unfortunately, I have no choice but to stick to IMDb For now.

Hello, this app is very useful if you want to keep track of the movies you still want to see. It's also fun to rate movies and have your own little opinion on them. ( cute!!) But I must admit that this app has its flaws. First of all, I think it could be a bit more open to user to user experiences. For example, being able to send your friends messages would be nice 😍. Second, when I want to rate movies, I can't just pick one and scroll to the next one, that's annoying and needs fixing asap!!!!!! Lastly, I wish there was a discovery function where you can left or right swipe movies, a bit like tinder. Thank you, have a nice day xx ps: if you could add some more official lists, like top 50 war movies or top 50 best pictures, idk just a suggestion.

Might there be an option to follow filmmakers so you can easily go to their films if you want to see a film by that particular director. It wouldn't have to be listed with the director how many followers they have in total, but just so you can see on your own profile and other people's profiles which ones they find interesting.

I have no personality, the only reason I use Letterboxd it so because, I c an read other people’s opninios and make my own based of that. But how can I do that if the application doesn’t allow me to read the fuxking reviews, the best part of Letterboxd

I like this app a lot, nice bold use of images and colors. Overall the UI feels really nice, but there’s something wrong with fetching data from the API or something. My interactions like opening a detail page or scrolling frequently hang and I’m sitting waiting for 3 seconds. Kinda annoying.

I Only one thing is missing for perfection. The ability to fill in the dairy how you viewed it. Cinema, dvd, television, 4K blu ray etc

Crazy amount of trackers & 3rd party vendor cookies. No thanks.

Of you’re a cinephile, this is the app! Very instinctive, covering all movie’s details and you can trust the average ratings:)
