Web portal operates just fine. 

Neither iOS nor iPadOS app will unlock with a just-reset password. 

While we’re at it, why in 2025 does your app/web site not permit any special characters in the password? Less than secure, crazy for a lock especially.

The history shows only the latest event of door lock or unlock. It will be useful if you get complete history of a day if not possible for a couple of days or a week.

### *---- "Stop asking for my location constantly"
You need to make an update to your app to STOP persistently asking for my location to be always allow. I choose NOT to take advantage of your locks ability to auto lock and unlock. Therefore, I do not have a reason to share my location with you. If you app keeps asking me multiple times for me to change my location permission, I will delete you app, find a new smart lock and actively NOT recommend you lock. Within a 5 minute period I had your app open to do firmware updates on my two locks, I was asked 8 times to update my location settings. That is something I RARLEY give to any app. And I’m ok with the trade off of not using all the functionality that an app would have with that access denied.

### ***** "I might be an outlier…"
I know there are those who have struggled with their Level products (you can read the reviews and see what I mean.) I personally have had to reset my Touch and Plus locks more than I’d like.

But all in all, I’m pretty happy with the products and this app.

Yes, the Matter update improved my Plus, but it was pretty good before the update, so it wasn’t a massive change for me (it wasn’t a 100% smooth update process, but I got there.)

Just like the latest version of this app (2.0.1): it’s good, but for me, it wasn’t too bad before.

Regardless, I’ve owned at least one Level deadbolt for 4 years now and for me, the changes have been evolutionary simply because I haven’t experienced any unsolvable problems. But if you’ve had a bad experience in the past, they really have been making improvements and it might be time to try out the latest version of things.

### ***** "Excellent lock if you use Matter"
I was one of the earliest adopters because I wanted a discreet electronic lock and Level Bolt was (and still is) the only lock that allows me to keep the minimalistic design and enjoy the convenience of never carrying keys. At first the lock was slow and a bit buggy (though still a good value). But the recent Matter update it’s truly a game changer. The lock opens in _seconds_ from my phone - zero lag. The auto lock and unlock work great too. I am very happy with the lock now and if you use matter, I highly recommend it. Side note: customer service is top notch and worked with me over the years several times to troubleshoot and address problems.
