About Lexia Core5 Reading:

Personalized. Powerful. Proven. Built on the science of reading, Lexia Core5 Reading accelerates the development of literacy skills for students of all abilities in grades preK–5, helping them make that critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn. Based on performance on a research-validated, adaptive auto-placement, students begin Core5 at the level that's just right for them. From there, Core5 seamlessly adapts with student performance, targets skill gaps as they emerge, and equips educators with the data and instructional resources they need to personalize instruction for every student.

The adaptive blended learning structure embedded in Core5 provides an explicit, systematic, personalized approach to reading instruction. The program is organized around six critical areas of reading:
• Phonological Awareness
• Phonics, Structural Analysis
• Automaticity/Fluency
• Vocabulary
• Comprehension

Based on student performance, Lexia's Embedded Assessment technology provides teachers and administrators real-time progress monitoring data—without stopping classroom instruction to give a test—saving up to a month of instructional time by
• identifying student risk levels
• predicting future performance
• prescribing instructional intensity
• providing real-time data and action plans

Within the first month of use, teachers will know each student's probability of meeting end-of-year, grade-level benchmark, and will receive the recommended resources and intensity of instruction necessary to improve students’ learning trajectory. In just minutes, administrators can see a full picture of academic progress across a district, school, grade, and class, down to the individual student, through easy-to-interpret, actionable reports.

Lexia is soooooooooooooo slow she reads things so slow that I just want to break my device which I won’t and the leaning thing are so borin and they should not have two parts because there basically the same things. it is a very stupid app it doesn’t make me smarter it makes me angrier. SO I THINK THEY SHOULD PUT AN END TO THIS AND A END TO CLEVER and did I say that clever has more 1 star ratings then 5 stars that’s when you know it’s a stupid app.

I am a 5th grade student and the my school recommends this app because it helps you become a better reader my teacher even said “Lexia is a gift” but it’s just trash the lessons make people rage no one in class wants to do it and its glitchy. I can’t see my self learning from this app.

We know how to read 🫣PLEASE stop explaining

We know how to read🫣 on

So yes, I do lexia core5 at school. And not just me has this problem. So what happens is I finish a unit and it starts a new unit, and then it explains what I'm supposed to do. But I don't think it should explain it to me if I'm on the second unit. It says ok read it with comprehension and maybe out loud. And it upsets all third graders because we're almost In fourth grade. And we all know how to read in our heads. Overall on the iPad it's good 👍
