LG ESS is a dedicated app that allows easy installation and easy monitoring of user's solar power generation, charge and power usage information.
* When connecting the app and the device for the first time, the wireless LAN Dongle must be installed in the LG ESS console.
* In order to check LG ESS operation status and accumulated usage information remotely using the app, LG ESS must be connected to the Internet.
The LG EnerVu Plus app is an application that is bundled with LG's solar-powered household energy storage products. This application can be installed on a smartphone of a professional installer and the person who purchased the LG ESS product. Using this, professional installers can finalize the installation by taking advantage of initial setup and commissioning functions when installing the product. The end user can also check the operation status, cumulative power generation, charge and power consumption information of the product through the app.

Beim Starten der App im Home-Wlan kann die Verbindung manchmal nur nach 10 oder mehr Neustarts der App zum Wechselrichter hergestellt werden. Dies ist mehr als nervig. Der Tipp die mobilen Daten zu deaktivieren bringt leider keine Besserung. Durch kurzfristige Deaktivierung des Wlan auf dem Handy kann man schneller eine Verbindung herstellen. dies funktioniert leider aber auch nicht zuverlässig. Wie schaffen es andere Hersteller funktionierende Apps zu programmieren?

Seit ein paar Tagen geht gar nichts mehr, nur noch ein schwarzes Bild.
Verbindung geht von Anfang an nur wenn das IPhone am selben Repeater angemeldet ist wie der Wechselrichter. Auch hängt sich die App dann gerne auf, wenn es den mal läuft.
Ich hoffe da tut sich noch was. 🥴🤮
Saublöde Anmeldung
Die Anmeldung zur alten Version war schon aufwändig, in der neuen Version die schiere Katastrophe. Zudem verlangt die App nach einiger Zeit ein neues Passwort; ändert man dies, kommt man trotzdem nicht aufs Menü. Folge: deinstallieren und neu installieren. So was Dämliches und Unausgegorenes habe ich selten gesehen
Was ist da los bei LG?
Guten Tag LG Team. Wieso ist der Verbindungsaufbau nur mit eingeschaltetem Ortungsdienst möglich? Datenschutz scheint ein Fremdwort bei den Entwicklern zu sein. Wenn man nicht zuhause im eigenem Netzwerk ist ist, kann ebenfalls keine Verbindung aufgebaut werden. Auch dann nicht wenn eine direkte Verbindung via VPN nachhause steht. Welchen Sinn macht solch eine App.? Und wie schon von anderen Kunden erwähnt, muss man regelmäßig die App. zuhause mit Ortungsdienst, neu anmelden. Egal ob Handy oder Tablet und welche iOS installiert ist. Gibt es noch Softwareentwickler bei LG? Wenn ja, dann werdet mal wach.
Usability like Windows 3.1 stuck in the 1990s
Each time the same long and boring log-in routine like clicking on cloud symbol, waiting about 10 to 20 seconds for their oh so funny animation of landing wind mills and houses with solar panels and the home screen of their browser, clicking on owner, seeing the next welcome screen, clicking on sign in, typing in id and password each time, finally logging in, waiting another 5 to 10 seconds only for a poor oversight of data scattered across the interleaved old school web interface without any interactive functionality to steer your equipment. That‘s no app at all, simply an awful unintuitive website killing your time and nerves. The worst: Against recommendations even from NIST (US) and BSI (Germany) they still force you to regularly change your password. Don’t loose your time with their support, it’s nothing more than an answering machine sending sentence components. Asked them to step back from forced password changes and got texts about how to reset my password. Asked to show battery loads in bigger numbers like perhaps 9 pts and made even more suggestions for improvement but never got any response. Sad customer support.

Such AI Support is like no support at all. Pure nonsense. Unbelievable.
Bleibt ständig hängen und stürzt ab
Ich hatte noch nie eine so schlechte App. Sie hängt sich ständig auf oder stürzt ab, teilweise kann auch keine Verbindung ins Home WLAN aufgebaut werden. Behoben kann dies nur mit einem Neustart des Handys werden. Unterirdisch schlecht!
Bedingt Brauchbar
Die App ist eine Katatstrophe. Ständig wird man raus geworfen und muss sich wieder neu über WLAN auf die Anlage schalten… den Fehler 404 haben wir ja schon oft genug gelesen hier.
Zudem kann man die App nur nutzen wenn man sich im WLAN befindet, sobald man sein Eigenheim verlässt muss man umständlich über die Homepage von LG gehen - und auch da kommt es oft zu Fehlern.

Ist fehlerhaft. 1.1.7 funktioniert unter iOS auf iPhone SE mit neuesten iOS überhaupt nicht. Stürzt immer ab.
Kathastrophe
Die App is ne Kathastrophe. Verbindet sich kaum im W-Lan mit der PV-Anlage. Habe seit 3 Jahren eine Anlage, die is an sich super, aber die App is wirklich eine Kathastrophe und wurde wahrscheinlich auch nie verbessert.
Funktioniert nicht
