First, you cannot open it during Airplane Mode—you have to make sure to open the app when you have internet first, even if you are listening to an audiobook you downloaded. Such a dumb programming choice. Second, it randomly changes your default borrowing period to 14 days, even though I set it at 21. This app was clearly not designed by anyone who actually reads.

Great way to read thousands of books in different languages!

It’s amazing I can take out books from the library like this. The loan management features are perfect. For some reason it takes a long time to open the books when I load up the app.

Libby is great

地元の図書館の電子書籍として使い始めましたが、まず検索方法が分からない。 検索しても無いものばかり。電子の意味ある？何があるの？と言いたくなる。 でも全く何も無いわけではなく、特集ページみたいなラインナップページから見ると好みは別としてそれなりに色々ある。ランキングからもそれなりにあるので何も無いわけでは無い。 でも欲しいものをピンポイントに探したくて題名を入れると「ありません」になる。ランキングにはあったのに？ どうやったら検索できて、借りられて、うまく使えるのかが全く分からない。 まだ登録して数日だからかもしれないけどこんなに辟易するアプリも珍しい。図書館へ行こうとすると最寄りの図書館へはどこへ行くにもバスを利用しないとだから特に返却が大変でアプリならと思ったけど、借りる以前が大変だった。 もう少し考えてみますが、どこかで使い方とか教えてくれないかな？図書館で登録した時は何も案内してくれなかったけど。 こう言うアプリも含め年々、図書館が使いにくくなるなと感じます。

書籍掲載のリンク等に飛んで分からないことをすぐ調べたり読書が捗ってとても愛用しています。個人的にもアクセシビリティ向上の観点からも読み上げ機能があると非常に嬉しいです。

Been using for years with virtually no problems. Syncs well across 4 devices I use.

My library informed me that Overdrive would be discontinued and replaced by Libby. However many minutes later I am still waiting on Libby to sign out a book. If 0 stars possible….. And it seems that Libby is designed to mine data. If not connected to the Net, the App refuses to open a book that I have been reading. Constantly receive an error message.
