A recent update introduced an issue where the app refuses to display a downloaded book when the device is not connected to the internet. Read: the app does not work during the primary circumstance for its use. Also around the same time, the app went from being very battery-efficient to being a huge hog. In July/August I read for ~7 hours on a flight and it used ~10% battery. Last night I read for ~3 hours and it used 38% battery.

The best feature of Libby, and what sets it apart from most other audiobook listening apps, is the ability to choose very specific playback speeds. It has some presets, but if 100% is too slow and 125% too fast, you can choose something in between. 110% is often exactly right.

Libby is amazing in the situation where i can’t get the book and Libby has it. The only problem is that my favorite book Libby won’t let me open

Libby is a GODSEND. I went from barely reading to reading 3 books in the last two weeks. Having an entire library at your fingertips is so convenient. Thank you, Libby!!!!

A sea of literature at ones fingertips. Though there are some books that I don't think are suitable for children available. Pray that those do not lead to harm.

I love it because it allows me to read and listen to so many books, but it is not the easiest app to use.

Always has what i need for a short wait
