Libby, the library app

I can’t recommend this app enough

Brilliant app, I use it every day!

At first, when I found the app it looked great and I immediately gave it a go but when it asks you to pick a library, the one my library card is linked to, Bracknell Library doesn’t even show up. I would really suggest trying to add all the libraries so that more people can actually use the app.

Just used the Libby App for the first time (on holiday in Spain) Very impressed with the ease of use. Also with the very helpful library staff in Holywood who were able to remind me of my PIN when setting it up.

For those who can’t always get to their local library, this app is brilliant for you to still get the benefits.

Libby audiobooks were a life-saver when I had Covid for the second time 😵‍💫 I love listening to a good book while I cook, iron, clean, bake, paint, garden. One the one hand, it feels indulgent to be read to, but on the other hand, great to do two things at once 💪🏻

My reading has increased hugely since downloading Libby and using it to borrow from my library.

Love the variety that us available. I enjoy reading but find small print difficult to read. This allows you to enlarge the print. You can borrow magazines and audio books as well without costing a fortune. No fines for late returns as automatically does this after set borrowing time. I use this all the time. I especially like listening to audio books as they bring the whole story to life.. A very happy user.

On the whole a good medium

I have read and returned my first book and am now trying to choose some more, I have done e-book reading for some time, since the library has moved to where I would need a car to get to it, this is the 3rd system change , I have to move to my Kindle now, for lighter nighttime reading that is where the problems start! I guess have the same problems that I have had try synching from another platform,daytime you can read in larger print then at night you can get it on your lighter weight Kindle
