## LiDA Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "App"
App doesn’t work on iPhone or iPad. West Sussex cc libraries unable to help.
-- mm🖥😁👻😁😢👻🎈🎈🖥🏠, 2026-09-05

### **--- "Needs a lot of improvement"
Transferred from the original local library app , this is a massive step backwards.
1) the load time of ten + seconds is slow , the screen telling me the most overdue book in history isn’t helping.
2) Navigating the app to find the title or author isn’t easy
3) it’s a clunky, poorly designed interface that needs loads of improvement to render it of use.
-- J46P, 2026-08-11

### *---- "Does not load - diabolical and pointless"
Why fix/replace something that isn’t broken. Using this as a replacement for the former library app warrants the definition of madness. The entire app crashes the moment it attempts to load, countless times trying to open this application and - after deleting and reinstalling - I am yet to open this app successfully without it crashing out. My device system is above the recommended latest software update and still fails to launch. This so-called technology serves no purpose whatsoever. Useless software and a waste of time to even attempt to download. Why bother changing over and migrating to this shambles of a cooperate technical solution to a former system that actually worked prior to this pointless app.
-- JJK 91 00, 2026-07-31

### *---- "Sad library moved to this app"
Can’t get past loading page
-- Nickname_used, 2026-07-28

### *---- "Awful app. Bring back West Sussex Library app!"
Nightmare to navigate and work out where a book might be in stock in a library. Most of the time it just dumps you into the library website!
Old West Sussex Lirbary app was simple to use and done just what as needed - one could search for a book, click on the version required (hardback, audio, etc) and it would come up with what libraries held it and how many copies were available.
Absolutely no idea where this info is available on this Aspen app. Deleted and gave up - just use library website now
-- Gizzywolf, 2026-07-27

### *---- "Useless"
literally cannot reserve anything! which is the main point of the app! it’s such an inefficient layout too
-- Wow I wrote a review, 2026-07-14

### *---- "Can’t get past the loading screen"
I can’t even get past the loading wheel to the home page. I recently joined and was looking forward to having a browse on the app. Unfortunately I can’t get into it.
-- summ3rb33, 2026-05-26

### **--- "Works fine when you can log in"
It regularly takes a long time to login, over two minutes to do anything. You regularly have to log back in, and then find and choose your library. Today the app couldn’t even find a list of libraries to log into. very poor. I hope West Sussex council are not paying very much for this Service
-- ParkerFlyGuy, 2026-05-26

### *---- "Barcode not usable"
Trying to use the card barcode flips the app into landscape and hides the barcode. On iPhone 16.
-- Kway57, 2026-03-19

### **--- "Unable to scroll"
Unable to scroll to
Get to my chosen libary, it stops at E, I need tonget to H!
-- Nicksie30, 2026-03-01

### *---- "Rubbish"
Doesn’t work.
-- Notwirththetrouble, 2026-01-23

### ****- "Worked fine for me."
No problem so far..
-- Rambler513, 2026-01-23

### ***** "Library app"
Great!
-- RBarb12, 2026-01-22

### *---- "Awful"
No way to organise by genre or what’s available etc making it terrible to borrow any books especially if you’re an electronic reader.
-- Lexi9456, 2026-01-22

### *---- "New app for local library"
Shocking
-- Karen......., 2026-01-22

### *---- "One star is overrating this app"
I’ve seen faster glaciers. This takes longer than walking to the local library. Cannot understand why it has been adopted in West Sussex
-- YouTubemourner, 2026-01-22

### *---- "Absolutely rubbish"
Completely useless app. Cannot sign in. Cannot reset pin.
Why did they change from the previous app, which actually worked.
-- Mattx.x.x.x.x, 2026-01-22

### *---- "Can’t log in"
It freezes every time
-- Lenpghhey, 2025-07-02

### *---- "Useless"
Same as previous review, opening line gets stuck halfway. Absolutely pointless app if cannot use!!
-- Cuttysarkayr, 2025-05-11

### *---- "Not fit for purpose"
Managed to log in once, but now just impossible. Wheel of death and then freezes.
