## LiDAR Pointer Description
LiDAR Pointer can perform the following functions:
- Measuring distance between your device and a surface;
- Indicating the angle of inclination of your device;
- Obtaining oral distance measurement through speech synthesis technology;
- Turning on the flashlight of your device to get extra light when you need it.

WARNING:
- This application requires a device equipped with a LiDAR;
- This application measures a distance between 1 cm and 5 meters maximum (only if a surface is detected by the LiDAR).

Die Software macht schnörkellos genau das was sie soll, nämlich mittels LiDAR die Entfernung vom Gerät zu einer Oberfläche zu messen. Hat bei mir in etlichen Versuchen problemlos funktioniert. Eine Hold Funktion wäre noch schön, um ohne Blick auf das Display z. B. die Entfernung von Wand zu Wand zu messen und erst anschließend auf das Display zu schauen.

The idea behind the app and the usability in general are superb. I particularly love the clean and simple UI. However, there is one major design flaw that makes using the app in real-life scenarios pretty hard: the numbers of the measurement result are changing waaaay to fast and, therefore, are hard to read even in a perfectly steady environment. I strongly suggest to reduce the displayed result to one decimal as the LIDAR's accuracy does bot justify a second digit anyway. In addition, some smoothing and interpolation of the measurements over time would greatly enhance readability and usability. And boost my review to five stars in an instant. 😉

Toll wäre es, wenn man die Messung fixieren könnte, sodass man das iPhone bündig an die Wand halten könnte und durch Druck auf die leiser Taste ein Foto mit der Distanz gemacht wird
