The app does not allow you to log into your account, not with phone or email. Every time I open the area to log into my account it pulls up a page to either enter your email or you can choose by phone, however when you select the text box it won’t pull up the keyboard to allow you to type anything. 

I’ve checked if there is an update to the app needed but no, I’ve deleted and reinstalled as well but it still does the same thing every time. I’m just left stuck on the login page with no option to actually connect my account. Very frustrating.

Where my Lidl is the internet coverage is awful. I have to skip scanning card just because it is not loading. Ability to add it to apple wallet working be appreciated.

Lidl plus app was great when starting out. You’d get something free like parchment paper, pastry, nuts for free with your next purchase. Now I find the scratch cards are not good anymore and not something I’d ever choose to buy. The items on discount are not what they used to be either. Seems it’s decreased to only 2-3 items under treats section. Every time I shop there there’s no good deals through the app. I would’ve thought coming up to Christmas there’d be incentives to do full grocery shopping.  Disappointing that the app is not as good as it used to be.

Lidl Plus is a good idea and the app is working fine when you have your own data, it won't work without internet and there's no wi-fi in stores. So if you have no own data in the shop you need to have the coupons activated prior to the shopping trip, then remember what is on offer and give the customer assistant your phone number to use the app. The offers are too repetitive, most freebies from scratchcard are out of stock so no use. I prefer a loose apple or an orange to junk food like wine gums, jellies, freeway fizzy drinks etc. but there is no such option. Circle K do it well as when you get a prize from them you can choose from a bottle of water and a nut bar (healthy option) or a fizzy drink and a chocolate (junk). Sometimes the app is down and not working for anyone for a couple of hours which is a shame when someone goes there particularly to use the coupons.

Was previously a fan of the Lidl app and Lidl products however recent changes over the last year or so have reduced it to being a somewhat waste of time (for the app) and declining product variety generally. Offers greatly reduced, free items / money off vouchers replaced with discounts on items of absolutely no interest. General product variety has also being significantly curtailed whether due to Brexit or Covid or other reasons. None the less the general decline in product variety, irrelevance of Lidl app makes competitors a far more attractive proposition.
