## Life Alive Reviews in United States

### *---- "Great restaurant, awful app"
The bar code for tracking purchases for rewards doesn’t work but people at the counter don’t know what to tell you about it. It takes a strangely long amount of time to load. Online ordering is non-intuitive—I’ve tried to use it at least 5 times and the length of time it takes to order something and pay usually leads me to abandon the purchase and just order in person. This app reflects poorly on the company—better they kill off the app than present themselves to consumers with such a poor app.

### *---- "Terrible App & NO ALTERNATIVE"
I order for takeout. It seems to be a policy that there is no alternative to the app or the website, but when the app doesn’t work it just says “Looks like we ran into a problem.” I try to use the app, because that seems to be the considerate way to order, but lately the app doesn’t work and the phone number isn’t on the app or website. When I found a phone number, no one answered. The app looks nice, but who cares when it doesn’t work?

### ***** "I love life alive!"
Love the food and love the app!
-- kiefernator, 2025-05-01

### ***** "Great app, great food"
I think I may have been late to the party, but I think the app works great. I’m able to customize my meal the way I want it and I haven’t had any issues with incorrect orders. My guess is the app was updated and the reviews that are negative are for a previous version. Anyway, keep making great food!
-- Anstorm, 2025-04-30

### ***** "Great App"
Really enjoyed this app, well done
-- Jones900, 2025-04-25

### *---- "Confusingly terrible app"
Poor design in every way. No way to autofill payment method, no way to use Apple Pay. DEVS, why?! Besides the Lufthansa app this is literally the worst iPhone app I have ever used.
-- Tom C8, 2024-11-04

### *---- "Not secure"
Forces you to save a payment method before you can place an order. There is no option to pay and not have your payment card saved. I wouldn’t trust their servers to store my credit card information. Deleted the app and my account instead.
-- Adriana04, 2024-10-16

### *---- "Really burned returning customers"
Update: this app is awful. It can’t remember a login? It can’t send the confirmation email quickly? So sad they got bought by big restaurant group. Was so much better when a small business.

Ive been eating from LA for at least 14 years. You are damaging your reputation. You got rid of the frequent buyer cards. This new app update destroy my order history. Had problems logging in and when I called they refused to take phone orders. Use to respect this company so much. Please don’t follow the root of b.Good. They destroyed their quality in search of profit. Then they died because they lost their customer base. BTW - if you are a new customer to LA the original stores in Lowell and Cambridge are SIGNIFICANTLY better quality, especially the juices.
-- Blahblahcrashblahblah, 2024-08-10

### ***-- "Customization not there"
I am a long time customer. The food quality is excellent which is the only reason there are three stars here rather than one star.
If you are in a hurry you can order in advance and your food MAY be ready when you arrive. Your order likely will be correct but incorrect often enough that you need to double check and then wait if they need to fix it.
In the stores you can exchange out an ingredient in a dish for something else. In the app the only way to do this is to ask to skip the first ingredient and then add the new one for an extra charge.
In the stores there are many more options for add ons than in the app.
If you order through a food delivery service you have the same problems as the app. The programming is the same. That is why I never order delivery.

They have added a perks rewards program. However, you only get credit for your order on the rare occasions that you accept the above issues and order through the app.
FIX THE APP rather than invent anything!
-- SmartSave, 2024-07-28

### *---- "Can’t create account"
Seems broken
