Free version just allows you to see what the pro version doed
If you're already a professional lighting designer you can probabably work out whether this does what you want from the free version. If you're an amateur (I'm a qualified electrical engineer, but not a lighting specialist) it won't - you can type in the data it wants and get bombarded with ads, but you can't calculate anything.
But the pro version is well worth having and is being actively developed - a good thing in an app.
