This is my first time trying Lime, found the app to be extremely user friendly. The bike parking was a stone throw from my estate, also on the other end the parking was not far from where I need to be …. excellent distribution across the town!
In London this is dangerous due to phone theft so is a big oversight. Please try to add the option of doing this before you want to ride and are at home rather than only being able to do it at the point of scanning a scooter in a public location. Thank you.
Once it is set up it works in so many cities. Also very easy to use.
It said free trail ride for a month but still charge you €4 p.m. Nowhere they indicated that they also charge € per min of rode. So I rode for 40 mins, and it is €10, on top of the €4 subscription fee. Should got the day pass if they made it very clear to consumers.
It kept telling me I hadn’t parked it in a parking zone when I had and I couldn’t end the ride.

Bikes themselves are great. Bafflingly poor decision not to put a feedback channel in the app itself. Absolutely baffling. Users could “suggest new parking bay area”, report misuse, give feedback. I’m sitting in the middle of my town center and all four of the parking bays nearest me are equidistant in how far out of my way and how inconvenient they are., I’d be quicker walking home despite the fact I’m surround by four fours minute walks to a rental and there’s a parking bay at the entrance to my housing estate waiting to receive me. Lost revenue. Pausing and “short term” parking needs work; The bikes are no good to me if I can’t rent one, to go a store, park it outside for 10 minutes to run an errand without the app having a seizure and threatening to end the ride. Then I say “OK, end ride then” it snaps back “Yeah but no, you can’t park here”., “OK PAUSE ride then”; “ride can’t be paused because you can’t park here.” Like what good are they then? And what good is a pause function? You can’t get off them unless your travelling from one parking bay to another parking bay? Make pause work universally (this should already be obvious).

So i got the scooter and I wrote 1 hour = 6.0 euro, then I took the scooter and after 21 minutes it took 21 Euros so this is or a scam or a bug, because 1 euro per minute is a terrible pice and probably no one wold buy it.
