## LimeCar Self Drive Car Rental Reviews in India

### *---- "Terrific experience!!!"
We recently rented an automatic Maruti Baleno from LimeCar during our trip to Goa, and sad to say, it was a disastrous experience. It had a private number plate, so we asked the delivery agent because we were worried it would be a problem, but he assured us it was okay and claimed they had been doing it this way for a long time. It was late, though; we were traveling with our 1.5-year-old baby at around 12:30 AM, so we did not have much of a choice but to take the car. Once we had started driving, we noticed the car was in terrible shape. The fan belt created this unsettling noise every time the car was running. It was a nuisance and honestly pretty terrifying because we have a small child, too. When we brought up these concerns with the delivery agent, he dismissed them, saying, "This is normal for automatic vehicles." To make matters worse, it did not even come along with any documents. At first, we checked the entire details on the mParivahan app and were shocked as this car did not even have valid insurance, and it had been already impounded. We try calling LimeCar's 24 x 7 customer care. However, instead of any kind of help, we got a response to reach out to the delivery agent. What’s the point of offering round-the-clock support if they can’t actually solve problems? The delivery agent wasn’t answering his phone that night, and when we followed up with him the next morning, he promised to send the documents over WhatsApp—but never did. The worst part happened when we visited Palolem Beach. We were stopped by Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) officers who explained that renting out private vehicles is illegal. They charged us ₹10,000 for the private number plate and ₹2,000 because the car didn't have insurance. The officers were kind enough to clarify that these penalties were meant for the vehicle owner, not us, but they strongly advised us not to use uninsured vehicles for our safety. It was then the last day of our trip, so we returned the car the following morning and felt relieved to put that experience behind us. Overall, this rental was a nightmare. LimeCar's lack of professionalism, poorly maintained vehicles, and unresponsive support left us frustrated and stressed. If you are planning to visit Goa, I would highly recommend avoiding LimeCar and opting for a service that operates legally and responsibly.

### *---- "Worst Services/Fake"
I would not recommend their services, they’re totally fake. I booked the car from them i.e. i20 and they bought Swift that too with a private no. plate. I upfront said no, their manager says we only have this vehicle, you have to use it but I didn’t and asked for a refund as this is their issue and until now the refund is not received neither they’ve cancelled the order.
I would recommend to better use some local 2/4 wheeler service provider who are cheaper from them and better in comparison to their services

### *---- "Bad service"
In goa better use self rent bike or car.

### ***** "Smooth App with awesome services"
The app provides a smooth UI and you can use the app without any hassle, the car rental prices provided by them are very affordable in comparison to market and services are great.
There is also a option of rescheduling which is a plus plus.

### ***** "Smooth Process"
I booked Limecar from the app and got my car delivered on time by the driver. The car was in good condition and prompt messages kept me informed about all the do’s and dont’s. The driver came to pickup the car at the handover site. Hassle free and Best experience for my goa trip for self drive cars.
