This app has become almost unusable. You can't even export an SVG now without a subscription. There are better apps available for the price of their one-month subscription that are more stable and offer greater functionality. Don't waste your time or money on this.
i use this app almost from the beginning. it’s really good app but it has its downsides which sometimes plays on your nerves hard. the number of bugs makes this app sometimes unusable i even can’t remember how many times i lost my project because linearity didn’t save it :)))) hate this feeling this app was free so i didn’t mind, i always was in contact with creators to fix those bugs nad they were really nice but things changed and i really don’t understand how you as a developer make people to pay big money for the app that doesn’t work correctly and sometimes delete your work that’s absurd and unfortunately i’m forced to say goodbye and use adobe illustrator
And you cannot skip that. Very bad UX, it was one of my favorite apps and now I delete it. When developer forces you to use his cloud this has serious privacy implications not to mention probability of using your graphics to AI training.
I am using this soft for a very long time, I’ve started long before the name was changed from Vectornator to Linearity. Back than it was completely free even without some (minor) funcionalities it has currently, but generally it was a great software for beginners and at all for vector graphics. Today I received email that completely ruins all the esteem it had earned in my heart. Even if there are 2 apps, with small free tier, it becomes even smaller, imo not allowing to make any bigger or more complicated graphic. I think it will be very hard for a beginner to start using this app, and more advanced users eventually will change this soft for more powerful or known competition. Even thought I understand that developers need to earn I don’t like the way it happens. I don’t want to have another subscription, I don’t want to pay this way, I would pay one-time-payment even if it was more than for competitors’ app (f.ex. procreate that has more functions), but if Linearity is going this way… I will have to say goodbye :(

Why? Why? Why? Why after rebranding from Vectornator to Curve it has to be online app? What’s the point of having M1 CPU on iPad when the app need to work online anyway? Why one can no longer work offline with the project? And why a perfect offline Vectornator app has to be now pure online and paid ridiculously high when compared to flagship iPad graphic editor Procreate? Please go back to offline app and get rid of this useless cloud.
App in insanely unstable. After transforming to curves while deleting nodes app is crashing!
Vectornator was great app that offered a lot for free. With new name came tons of limitations, everything is cloud based, you have to „sell” your data to their cloud in order to use it, for free you can have only few files (like 3 or 5).
Awesome application, so easy to use. I also like that I can animate my designs in Linearity Move ❤️
It’s so handy to have the app you can work with on all your devices!!
