Downhill and redundant

Don’t bother installing it if you found out about it while searching for a free alternative to vector based programs. The free version no longer lets you export vectorial files, it makes you pay for svgs. You’re better off using figma or something even if there’s a subscription to others as well, but at least you can locally save files to prevent reaching the file limit. (unlike here after the updates) Still, if you are willing to pay for a subscription, try looking into other programs beforehand, since there are quite a few with better features.

Great design tool

I really enjoy designing in this application, it's smooth and easy to use, and my files are synced so I can continue my work from my iPad. Also, I love their templates library and background removal. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Intuitive and fun to use

Very intuitive interface and easy to use. I love it especially for designing logos, with the tool that combines or removes shapes. Keep it up!

They go subscription-based

…and I knew it, I knew it from the first time this subpar vector app ditched the premium price to go “free”, that they will rent their best bits of their software, sooner rather than later. But OMG, all those lies that they care about poor students, that they want to help those who can’t afford expensive software… all those big fat lies. And now they say they want to keep the pro software locked away. They’ll rent the good stuff, AND I DON’T RENT SOFTWARE. I’m so happy that I largely kept the distance, and ended learning and using Affinity instead for professional work. Shame on you.

Toolbox

Any chance to have the possibility to move the toolbox in the top left corner? From the settings maybe? I think this should be implemented ASAP as many of us have this kind of muscle memory and is frustrating when you realize that you have moved your pointer in an empty space...

1 star for this rebranding

very ugly logo, ugly orange, very very ugly minimal brutalist style graphics that lots of brands already have for years ago. NOBODY needed this, its a change for the worse. What was needed was bug resolve, and to be faster and more precise. Not some horendous image change. Return it to how it was.Sad sad

a lot of bugs..I had to restart the app 3 times before continuing on my work..also it undo s some step unnecessary..really I recommend it only if you want to get frustrated
