All the features are now built behind a paywall. They seem to be going the Adobe route, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they start scraping users art and work eventually to try to get more money. I plan on deleting all my files saved and removing this app soon.
This used to be the perfect vector app. I loved it, and recommended it to all my art contacts, but that is no more. They’ve messed with all the tools so they don’t work anymore, they’ve moved to a subscription model which has broken everything. Just a month or two ago I could still export my files but of course they’ve taken that away. Want to make a new file? Good luck. You can only have 3 and that includes their sample files. Only way to keep working is to add another artboard to an old file, because, remember, you can’t export to store your files. So, TLDR, it used to be amazing but they’ve destroyed their own product
This app is great and easy to use, however they make you to pay for “pro” in order to export your file, so please BEWARE! The price that they ask for is extremely outrageous for an independent illustrator who doesn’t make any income doing art.
The app was free to use, but now it won’t even let you open the thing without creating an account. And AFTER you create an account, you can’t progress without signing up for a subscription. We really are living in the golden age of app… subscriptions. I don’t know about most of you, but I can’t afford 500 different subscriptions every month for every single thing in my life.
If you guys are going to make a run-of-the-mill image creation program like this, you really shouldn’t make people pay to save their own images.
once an amazing, convenient and free app with no cost to export files, is now a monetized money- dumpster that prioritizes coins over art. genuinely, who’s idea was it to change to linearity and make it subscription based? fire them, please, and go back to free everything; this subscription service will take you nowhere.
You know what? I have been using this app more like 2 year or 1, the previous of this app really good, I’m using it for my game business. But it’s now starting to cost money, the background tools even the saving tools are also needed to be cost.. I hope y’all should think again.
Nothing like a program getting bought out by people to only have them slowly push basic users out over the course of several months to the point where files can’t be exported without paying a monthly fee. I’ll go elsewhere to convert my svg’s but I guess that’s what you all eventually wanted 👋🏻.
DO NOT USE! I have been using this software for years since back it was vectornator. This app has completely been ruined by the company that purchased Vectornator. I haven’t been a fan of all the changes that have been made, but I’ve been able to work around them and still use this app to meet my needs. However, on top of the three file limit and export format and size restrictions. There is now a limit on how many exports and prints you get on the free version. This is a change that was not communicated or listed anywhere on their website. When I reach out about this, they confirm the new limit and confirmed that this was not listed on their website yet. To show their “appreciation”, they offered me a “special” offer of half of my fist year, which is just their current sale that’s available to everyone. Went to go use Vectonator, found this app in its place. They removed the features I paid for when I bought the app and now require a monthly sub. Guess I won’t use this app anymore.
