I use it along side other apps, it’s really good for learning the words that you need to use in conversation but aren’t taught. As long as you have grammar understanding, the words they teach can easily be added to your speaking vocabulary of a language. I really appreciate how they tell you if a word in feminine or masculine and also shows you both versions of the adjectives! I love the farmstead and keeping my cute little animals while also learning more French. The developers are also so awesome and reach out on Reddit, thanks for being great. I used to use Duolingo all the time but it eventually became very repetitive and it wasn’t as fun anymore. This game though it’s continuously fun as there is so much to do. You can either work on your farm and play with you Naalas to practice your chosen language, or decorate your farm and build relationships with the locals. On the flip side, I love how they turned learning a language into a RPG battle, where the cards you use practices the language you’re learning. You have to be fast and really test what you’ve learned in order to move forward in the battle, all while leveling up your character. Over all I really love this game. It’s been the only app that I find I am able to replace with doom scrolling on social media. The only recommendation I have for this game is more practice of dialogues with farm workers rather than just most flash cards and words to memorize. -- Muzyka5, 2024-11-25 ### ***** "Really loving it so far!" This little game has surprised me. I’ve taken four years of Spanish classes. Granted, it was many years ago. 😅 I’ve used apps like duolingo, I still have it, I just lost interest. It gets tedious after a while. I really wasn’t expecting much from this game. I’m only at level four but I’ve already learned a couple of new phrases I didn’t know before! It’s been fun and very engaging. It can be hard to keep my attention. The ads have just been between rounds when I need extra energy. They’re quick and I get to go right back to playing. It drives me nuts when they randomly pop up and take 10 minutes of your life. That hasn’t happened here. I have no problem watching a quick ad here and there to support the game. So far, it’s been really fun. If I have any complaints I’ll come back and edit my review but as of this moment, I don’t have any. Great work to the creators of the game! The fighting itself isn’t the problem it’s when you go and pick a card it will either give true/false, multiple choice or you have to spell the word.
