LingQ uses the way in which we naturally acquire language. While you can use it for flashcards (focused repetition), its strength is in the streamlining of use of dictionary as you’re exposed to content (in that sense it mimics that moment you go “mommy what’s that big word you just said mean?”), which makes exposure faster.

 LingQ also allows you to decide your content, unlike any other program out there. So while I recommend using the beginner content on LinQ, like letter learning and pronunciation, and of course the Mini Stories for some start up vocabulary, after that you can just dive into any content that interests you in your target language on the internet, which makes learning so much more enjoyable. This includes audio and video content, which gives you the ever coveted listening comprehension exposure time! 

 Finally, if you want to move on to speaking, you can find teachers through LingQ. Compared to other paid products and what they offer, LingQ is super affordable and gives you much more. Setup may seem complex, but after you set up your daily LingQing goal, you don’t really need to do much more. And the website offers all the tech help you may need. Can not recommend this enough. Have already recommended it to everyone I know who’s learning a language. Hands down and by far the best language learning app I’ve tried.

Very good dialogues, though, at times it has places when speech disappears and sentences are suddenly gone.  A bit complicated because all of its possibilities... I don't understand yet how to find out meaning of whole phrases.  Otherwise, it is a very good tool for learning new language.
