Besides the frustrating and complicated procedure to connect the personal Linkedin account with the company’s provided Linkedin Learning account, this app does not even sign in. When you install it and open for the first time you are proposed to sign in Linkedin or create a new account. The app opens a browser overlay to allow you to sign in, but then the overlay does not return the successful access to the app. So you actually only sign into the browser overlay of the app, not the app itself. Very poor app that doesn’t even allow to login as expected.
Seems to be buggy
Very poor white video controls in the middle of the screen on iPad and iPhone. When videos have white backgrounds (like some Excel courses), we cannot see these controls at all! No options to change control or video background colours either. Get a grip LinkedIn and make your app a minimum user friendly!! Otherwise, why should I bother paying for LinkedIn Premium???
I looked up a few “courses” on visual studio. The videos were just instructors saying over and over again how great the tool was. The videos never got to the point. Maybe there is good content elsewhere in the tool but Linked in should exersise some editorial control.
You’ve made an app whose sole reason to exist is playing videos and there is no play/pause button. Why would you do something like that? Why on earth would you even think of doing something like that? How does making your customers mad help you?
Initial thoughts only + love the download facility so that you can watch offline. Bus journey to/from work is going to be more productive - hate the player as it’s impossible to see the player controls (e.g. pause, skip 10s) as they blend into the video. Put a contrasting border round each of the controls Not sure if it’s the player or me (so not saying it’s a -ve) but it seems unresponsive. It may just be my clumsiness
I wanted to use on the go while working or to listen in the car. After a few random minutes it closes.
Since updating my iPad to OS16 I haven’t been able to login via my university address. Have removed and reinstalled updated app to no joy. Disappointed wanna be learner.
I can download courses but they do not work without connecting a LinkedIn account. That doesn’t work either.
